橘子海灘島屋飯店-希爾頓逸林飯店(Island House Hotel Orange Beach - a DoubleTree by Hilton)

I booked for one night for a little family trip. We live close by but we found we couldn’t go since there is a not apply option I just showed unsatisfied. My ninth state was on refundable nothing against the hotel. It appears like we would’ve had a great time otherwise.

We stayed at this property in September of 2022 and everything was great. This time there was water standing on the balcony you couldn’t even step out and relax. None of the outlets in the room except the bathroom worked I couldn’t charge anything. The stay was just not good this time. One more thing the room smelled musty. It was just not what I expected for what I paid.

The room I booked through ******* was not the room that I was given. The room was an adjoining room with a noisy resident . I booked a corner room to avoid such a situation.

This property was just mediocre for the price per night. The hotel staff were rude from check-in to check out and we never got the basic housekeeping during our stay AFTER asking for it 3 times. No new linens, towels, toiletries, trash changed etc. At almost $400 a night the bare minimum should be expected here. Then after addressing my concerns at check-out the lady literally never said a word back. She didn't apologize for the mess up , she literally said nothing. Stared me down until I walked away. The level of rudeness I experienced at this Hilton hotel was appaling. I am a Hilton member and have stayed at numerous locations over the years, and this has been the worst experience ever at a hotel in general. The hotel is average at best, outside of it being beachfront, there isn't anything special about it. The people you hire to be the face of your hotel matters. It's everything! I won't be returning and I will definitely let others know what to expect here. Poor service, and complete lack of customer care. Do better Hilton. Never again!

The service was great. The front desk staff and dining area staff should be Commended...

No wifi; computers down , must pay cash for food, no charges to room allowed. Unable to verify room; had to provide ******* information. Room clean and neat; expensive room, few amenities. Doubtful I would stay here again

beautiful location. Quiet, white sand, clear blue green ocean. Nice neighborhood, everything close. Great restaurants , snack shops. Highly recommend this Hotel.

The property was great. Room was big. Okay bar in the lobby for drinks. Starbucks coffee in the lobby. Parking was tight for our SUV and spaces were few.

The only thing I can think of is that there were fire ants around the pool. I stayed here one other time back in October 2020 and fire ants were all over the pool area. So have them eradicate the ant problem!!
