裡多海斯旅館(Rideau Heights Inn)

The motel itself was very nice and well placed on the outskirts of town but the owners were rude and unpleasant

We needed accommodation for the night before an early morning flight, and Rideau Heights Inn was close by and inexpensive. Check-in was slow because of a long phone call in reception, WiFi didn’t work, and we had to leave before breakfast, with no take-away option. The room looked worn, but was clean.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and fine, though a bit small. But it's a motel, after all! Price was reasonable relative to other options, and it's pretty handy to any part of Ottawa - so no complaints for a one night stay!

It’s unique, pretty and very home-y. The gentleman at the office was lovely. It's a refreshing break from the bland, sterile, abstract esthetic of Every Other Hotel. I feel I can actually slow down and relax. Tucked into a quiet road in the trees, it feels comfortable and very safe. I felt like I was at a lovely cottage nestled in a little road off the beaten path, beautiful old trees surround the property and I loved seeing their lovely Chris**as lights through my window when I was relaxing on the couch. A landmark in the area for over 35 years, I finally have stayed here and it truly is a lovely, peaceful place to rest your weary head.

Toilet door could barely close and the door nob was falling off, toilet seat was on its last legs, shower head was held together with hopes and dreams, no hand soap, two small pillows for two people and when i asked for more pillows (plural) i was given one and that was "all i get". the included breakfasr was cereals and coffee and an apple, pretty meh.

King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom counter, mirror etc were newly renovated. Overall worth the fee for two nights. Liked the ground level access of the motel to my parked car right in front of the room. I would stay again . It is a drive though to the downtown. Ok if you’re good at navigating the roads into city centre.

Pour un endroit tranquille et peu dispendieux pour une nuit ou deux, c'est parfait. Par contre, il serait intéressant d'élaborer un peu plus le petit déjeuner par l'ajout de pain et grille-pain et d'oeufs cuits dure. C'est relativement simple à gérer et ça ajoute à l'offre déjà présente.

Staff were very accommodating allowing me to check in much earlier at about 9.45am and also do a late check out at 1pm at no additional cost. Property is dated but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Strongly recommend if you’re on a budget.

A hidden gem. Clean and quiet. Super comfortable bed. Really impressed with this place. Friendly helpful staff and easy check in. Definitely a throw back to small town USA in all the good ways.
