Beautiful old classic structure with a lot of fascinating history. Tate gave us a detailed tour of the building and shared stories of the past. A very nice alternative tdo second rate motels and a nice breakfast.

Amazing. The history of this place and the tour was just amazing!!!! The owner was so friendly and knowledgable. Its a quiet place which we needed after miami and daytona races!!! Not a party place! But we were fine with that! The claw tub was icing on the cake!

Our first visit to Palatka. The Grand Gables was a wonderful historic home with a comfortable bed, hot shower with great pressure, and a roomy room. Breakfast in the morning made by Jessie was great, with local jams and good coffee. Dinner at Velchoff's Corner (3-minute drive) was incredible. Highly recommend.

What an experience! The Grand Gables is grand indeed, its authenticity wonderfully restored yet overlaid with modern conveniences. Our hosts were simply marvelous. Tate, a fountain of knowledge about the home and Palatka with its surprisingly rich history, gave us a fascinating tour, such a gift and a highlight of our visit. We loved that we were easy walking distance to the waterfront and downtown, plus easy drive to Ravine Gardens State Park, itself a treat. The Inn operates as a true B&B, a sad rarity these days. So no cleaning, booking, etc. etc. fees. How refreshing. Go there and enjoy!

So sad to hear the owners are selling! I wish I had more time to enjoy the porch. Very grand yet comfortable space.

What a fantastic find! It's wonderful when historic treasures like this impressive home can be maintained. Tate was a terrific host, as was Jessie. Our only issue was the bedroom temperature at night. It was beyond a sauna.

This is a hidden gem!!! We were looking for a place to our wedding. when I first saw this place, it I was perfect for our wedding. we rented the whole place for the weekend. The architectural design and the beauty of the place is magnificent. Every body thought the place was stunning at Chris**as time. The Inn keeper Tate was great! The place was beautiful for our wedding

The home is very beautiful and rich in American history. We greatly appreciated the tour and hearing the history of the home.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, just a couple hours from home. A gorgeous venue, very hospitable, and such attention to detail. As a quick getaway with the husband, we couldn't have asked for more. Would return in a heartbeat.
