白玉蘭飯店(Magnolia Inn)

Les agradezco que me hayan otorgado la suite por motivo de mi cumpleaños pero en realidad al no haber ascensor tuve que subir tres pisos por las escaleras. No es recomendable para adultos mayores si piden la suite por esa misma razón,no ascensor. Otra cosa, hay que mejorar el seguro de la puerta. Mucho trabajo para abrir y cerrar. Puntos positivos,todo cerca como shopping áreas, restaurantes.

Personnel à l’avenant , excellent rapport qualité/ emplacement / prix. Propre et bien entretenu . La présence d’une cuisine est un gros avantage. Très bien situé. Ajoutez une petite piscine et une jardin et vous aurez le meilleur hôtel de tout Panama City !

MAGNOLIA Inn was very clean, all staff exceedingly helpful. Easy walking distance to many great restaurants. They have airport to and from Magnolia in for $35.00 cash each way, up to four people.

The place is old, and looks it. The AC barley worked. There are no amenities. The photos on the site make this hotel look much nicer than it is. Parking is a hassle also.

The Desk manager in particular Joseph was great very knowledgeable, attentive , caring , it was like he owned the place he was that good .

The room was clean. When we arrived there was no place to park for check in. The gentlemen at the desk asked if we were blocking traffic. He did come out to help us bring in our stuff but then told us we could park 3 blocks away and it will cost $25 dollars a day. No on street parking like the description says. No valet parking. My husband went and parked the car. Now imagine being in a strange place, having to find a parking lot 3 blocks away with every other street a one way street. We had a lot of bags. The check in host told me we'd be on the second floor. I saw 2 stair cases. One that went down and one that went up. There was no place to put our luggage during check in. Other folks were there so i was trying to make room. Our room was not ready so we had to wait. In order to make room, I began to carry our bags upstairs. I got almost all of them carried up when the host them tells me, oh that's not correct, your room is this way down those steps. The stairs he spoke about were down a few stairs then turn a corner and walk up a flight of stairs. I began carrying all the luggage back down. The host chuckled and said I was wondering why you carried them up THOSE stairs. After about a half an hour wait, our room was ready. About 2:45pm. There was a TV in the room but the wifi did not work well enough to use the TV. Initially there was no hot water in the shower. We had to ask to have it repaired. They did. The room was extremely noisy. Above was community kitchen.

First time traveling out of the country. Accommodations were recommended by family member. Friendly and courteous at checkin. No elevator but asked if we needed help climbing stairs. Room clean and comfortable. Had a little trouble with TV, no instructions on cable or local stations but didn’t spend enough time in room to really matter. Shower was great.

The hotel and staff are fantastic. However, there were near by residents on the street up until 4 am both nights. If you are not a very heavy sleeper. I would strongly suggest another hotel. While the staff did what they could. This was their home. It was unfortunate.

The location is in a very noisy area there was loud music until 4am every night; the guests were very loud and partied a lot and very disruptive and no staff helped. there was no room service; no one came to clean in the 5 days we were there. There is no elevator must walk up 5 flights of stairs
