圖米厄飯店(Hotel Thoumieux)

The location is great but the hotel is run-down and in need of repairs. I was horrified to see that the lamp in the bedroom clearly hadn't been dusted in a long time. Stains all over the carpet. The room was not clean and it seemed totally neglected as many areas were damaged and not properly repaired. The minibar only had beer and juices that you could find at a cheap supermarket. No snacks. The staff was friendly but not very professional. I got the impression that nobody really cared about maintaining order in this hotel. There was no real hospitality.

The pros : nice location in a street with shops and restaurants, not too far from Eiffel Tower and from the river. Nice staff at reception. Relatively comfortable rooms and quiet (our room was at the back) The cons : not pleasant nor convenient entrance, straight from the street into stairs (better avoid heavy luggage). Can also feel insecure due to the need for someone to buzz you in. There are more stairs to access the rooms. Room maintenance could be improved (water in the toilet was running non stop, we reported it but it wasn’t fixed)

We stayed here for 4 nights, the first of which was a Friday. When we first checked in to our room, room 3, I was really delighted as it looked out over Rue St. Dominique and was so cute. But when we came home from dinner out that night at about 11:30, we found there was a raging party going on in the Brasserie, and we could hear every note of the piano and stereo music. We asked at the front desk and were told it would last until "1:30 or 2:00 at the latest" and that these parties where "only on Fridays and Saturdays." That was really no comfort to us as it was half our (quite expensive) stay. The next morning we asked to move rooms and the staffer very nicely agreed and moved us to room 17 at the opposite end of the building, where we had no further problems. My beef is not with either of the staffers we spoke with, but rather the management of the hotel trying to have it both ways by hosting these parties and booking unsuspecting hotel guests into a clearly unsuitable room.

La Chambre est OK, le service OK, mais si vous voulez dormir, passez votre chemin. Musique assourdissante du jeudi ou samedi jusqu’à 1h30 du matin. À bannir, sauf pour les fetards. luce et Mathieu Bertrand..

Tout … nul… quel dommage c était si Bien avant ! On est venu en couple et tout était catastrophique… on prend une chambre deluxe pour se faire plaisir et on tombe sur une chambre quelconque.. la salle de bain est sale, les petits details ne sont plus! Le premier soir( vendredi ) , grosse fête au restaurant. La moindre des choses auraient été de prévenir que l’hôtel était transformé en discothèque. Impossible de dormir avant 2h. J adore la fête mais je viens à l’hôtel pour dormir . Samedi matin : plus d eau chaude ! On vous fera un prix sur la chambre mais on sait pas si ce sera rétabli dans la journée … ok mais pas de solution du coup? Non .( on parle d une chambre à 300€ la nuit ) Heureusement c est rétabli on a pu se laver le soir ! En rentrant, re soirée au resto et re impossible de dormir vu que c est une catastrophe niveau insonorisation. On part le dimanche matin, on me sort la facture totale ( aucun geste bien sûr ) et surtout aucune excuse pour tous les désagréments. On sentait bien le réceptionniste mal à l’aise car il ne nous regardait même pas et nous parlait pas non plus . Mais il a été ignorant et a préféré se murer dans un silence gênant. Séjour catastrophique, très mauvaise gestion et hôtel vraiment beaucoup moins bien qu il y a 3 ans . Plus jamais!!!!!!
