愛丁堡達爾基斯普瑞米爾飯店 （A7）(Premier Inn Edinburgh A7 (Dalkeith))

Do not eat here, the breakfast was awful. We waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes, even though we had booked. And it was not worth waiting for. We were 5 of a party, and nobody finished their breakfast. The food is obviously the cheapest they could buy, the quality was poor. And the way it was prepares was terrible. I normally stay here for convenience, but never eat an evening meal because of a couple of poor meals. I will never eat breakfast here again. Doubt if I will stay here again, time to find somewhere new; Premier Inn has gone downhill recently.

This Prem Inn is so old and outdated, I'm sure ABBA were still in the pop charts. Tired and basic, more of a Travel Lodge than a Travel Lodge, silicon in the bathroom was put on by a 3 year old. I'm no longer watching Doctor Who but this hotel also takes you back in time. Not sure we can buy TVs this small, a 14 in her. Shower using a 'stick to you' shower curtain, how dated.

This hotel is situated in a good location for exploring Edinburgh. We were able to get the train into the city at a nearby park and ride. Premier inn is always a safe option (especially when travelling as a family) as you know exactly what you are going to get! Same applied to this trip, it was perfect for our needs. Ample parking, spacious family room, with comfortable beds, unlimited tea (refills at reception) and all you can eat breakfast to set you up for the day! The service at breakfast was great, staff very friendly! One morning our little girl had a smiley face drawn on her boiled egg- which she loved. The food at breakfast was super tasty with lots of options. Even better that kids eat free with paying adults! On a whole the hotel was clean and tidy, warm and welcoming. The colouring sheets and crayons in reception were also lovely! A great stay!

I arrived at 14.30 hrs and was informed that if I wanted into my room then it would cost me an extra £10.00p. Not wanting to pay I went into the restaurant next door.....Part of Premier Inn.. for a coffee.....I waited to be Seated....and waited...and waited...eventually a man from behind the bar shouted over...."She will be there in a minute"........a long minute...eventually he came over and gave me a seat......the coffee was disgusting....I attempted to pay cash.....they asked me for ID incase the money was forged....I did not give them ID and the manageress came out and I got what for.....very abusive between her and the two on the desk.....terrible treatment....I do not recommend anyone to book in their...

We had a meal in the table table restaurant which was excellent quality and value. The surroundings were clean and tidy and the service was excellent. We were welcomed by Gary who was polite, informative and great company. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we would certainly do it again.

Accommodation was standard Premier Inn, clean, welcoming and comfortable, and was perfectly located for a family get together. The accommodation staff were very polite and friendly and you felt you were a valued customer....BUT... our experience in the attached restaurant for our second days breakfast was an appalling and traumatic experience. The cooked breakfast service was so delayed we ended up cancelling our breakfast and walking out. Since some Premier Inn locations have dispensed with the open buffet and replaced it with table service, then any flexibility is lost and you are at the mercy of the staff. After 30 mins from sitting down I still had not had my 2 item cooked breakfast, on cancelling the breakfast with the manageress, she became very defensive and then aggressive that I should have the opinion that they weren't very efficient, and the parting comment that led me to leave was...'if you wanted your breakfast any earlier then maybe you should have got out of bed sooner'....I'll leave that comment for you consider... The accommodation part of this Premier Inn and the staff were fantastic, avoid the restaurant and go down to the next roundabout where there is a friendly Tesco restaurant.

Great room for families, very spacious and comfortable. Hotel room was very clean and had everything we needed! The restaurant was really nice and great value for money. Breakfast was a really good selection and service was brilliant considering the lack of staff.

Stayed for one night whilst on business in Edinburgh. The room was very quiet/comfortable and was decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was perfectly pleasant and there was ample car-parking onsite. Located around 7 to 8 miles out of Edinburgh so you will probably need a car to make this convenient.

Premier Inn needs a complete refurb. Very dated and very expensive. Worked out around £188 per night for below average accommodation. Food quality in pub servicing the accommodation was poor and the tables were all sticky. Best bit was breakfast but after 2x poor evening meals stuck to toast and fruit. Fine as emergency accommodation if desperate but definitely not a ‘go to’ place. Staff all very efficient and pleasant at Premier inn and pub (chain is Table Table). Issue sits with food menu, presentation of food, pub chain (sticky tables 🤮) and value for money of Premier inn. Was overpriced by c. £90 per night based on standard of accommodation.
