Upon checking in at approximately 7:30pm on June 17,2022, the foreign speaking, unfriendly, female desk clerk had difficulty communicating effectively with us. We requested a non-smoking room. We had driven 10 hours from Massachusetts. We were directed to enter the building through a door which led us into a very dark stairwell to the second floor. When we reached our room (#215), the room across the hall was occupied by several loud people. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke as well as wreaked of *********. The ********* was coming into our room by way of the connecting door to the adjacent room. We also found a pair of ladies black slacks on the back of the bathroom door. At approximately 9:00PM, VERY,VERY LOUD MUSIC started playing. It was SO Loud that our room was vibrating!! The music Continued Playing until 2:30AM!! We NEVER slept that night. We checked out at 6:35AM . The foreign speaking, unfriendly, male desk clerk, did not want to voluntarily give me receipt. He acted as if he did not know how to print a receipt. I patiently waited until he gave me a receipt. This was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I hope Never to stay in a Red Roof Inn again.
