Great Stay, Great location

This property is a go-to for reliable, clean, convenient travel in and out of John Glenn Int’l Airport in Columbus. We appreciate the complementary and always timely airport shuttle — one of the few hotels providing this service, morning, noon and night. The showers boast great water pressure and truly hot and cold water. Thank you! Not a fan of the lack of daily complementary water for each of our guests, nor the lack of hard boiled eggs (for breakfast on-the-run) or freshly prepared oa**eal as available at other Tru properties we have stayed it. They all would be appreciated.

I've been staying at hotels near John Glenn International for many years. This is hands-down the nicest place I've stayed. Modern, clean. A+ on customer service throughout the facility. Sarah was the young lady servicing the breakfast area. I've never seen anyone hustle and go out of her way to make sure everything was in perfect shape for those of us having breakfast. She smiled, she CARED about doing a great job - not just going through the motions. I wanted to bring her home with us so she could work at my business!

Waited about 5 minutes at the desk. Score being helped or greeted. One of the amenities listed are black out curtains, the control to raise and lower them was not working. Front desk staff said a maintenance man had to replace the battery and there was no one available. We asked for extra pillows, not only because the ones provided have little life in them, but also to maybe prop them on the window sill so we could have a little bit of privacy and block some of the brightness from the street light. It was very disappointing and uncomfortable with the light shining in all night long and having to take turns changing in a bathroom since the shades could not be lowered. Even more disappointing that nothing could be done to resolve this issue. I’ve stayed at a Tru Hilton in another city before, and it’s clear not all hotels are operated the same. This one was lacking.

Property was nice and convenient to Easton for shopping and dining. Staff were very unfriendly and rude. Parking situation was atrocious. We booked specifically for the EV parking and they allow anyone to park in the EV spaces.. even if it is not an EV and they are not utilizing the chargers. When inquiring at the front desk, the employee was VERY rude and was basically told me that I was out of luck. Parking was also very limited and after returning home from a late dinner, the same employee told me to “park across the street”. Overall would not stay here again.

Worst hotel stay I have ever had. Absolutely plain and sterile looking. Check in clerk was not friendly or helpful. Asked if they had tampons and she sent me to the public bathroom to purchase out of a machine.Asked if I could get a sewing kit and they don't offer any extras. Breakfast was a joke.

There were other guests who were very loud and inconsiderate. I called the desk and they said they would take care of it but it never stopped until around 5AM. We got no sleep and will not return. There needs to be a good security person every night so this does not happen. We paid a lot for this room. Also, there was a terrible smell in the lobby whenever we entered it.

This is a nice hotel and convenient to airport and not far from downtown Columbus. The rooms were OK but the walls are thin and you hear everything above you like heavy walking.
