海岸銀行之家床和早餐(Seabank House Bed and Breakfast Hummingbird)

Dieses großartige B&B thront auf einer Anhöhe und bietet einen tollen Blick auf das Wasser. Das im voktorianischen Stil im Jahre 1854 erbaute Haus hat einen Charme, den ganz einfach das Alter (und entsprechende Pflege) hervorbringt. Unser Zimmer war der „Kahi Aloha Room“, der – wie der Name vermuten lässt – im haiwaiianischen Stil dekoriert war. Sehr geschmackvoll, übrigens. Das ganze Haus wirkt sehr großzügig und die Möblierung ist so, wie man es von einem solch altehrwürdigen Haus erwarten kann. Die Gastgeber, Familie Cunningham, war sehr freundlich; wir konnten mit dem Hausherrn uns sehr nett unterhalten über das sehr schöne Haus (soweit dies unsere beschränkten Kenntnisse der Englischen Sprache zuliessen). Das Zimmer war ansprechend möbliert und alles war sehr sauber; wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Zum Frühstück wurden uns Eggs Benedict serviert, was uns sehr erfreute.

We were planning to catch the last ferry from Caribou yesterday after flying into Stanfield, but Air Canada had other plans. Our flight from Toronto was delayed, so we re-booked for the next morning. Glenn snd Liz accommodated us at the last minute. We arrived late and left early the next morning. The bed was great, best one yet on our trip. Was not expecting to sleep well with all the travel, but miraculously had a great sleep. The house was clean, quiet, and beautiful. They even made a little breakfast and coffee for us to take for the early ferry the next morning. For my wife it has become a home away from home since she travels to Pictou frequently. Thank you to you both, Glenn and Liz!

Needing to find accommodations in Pictou for a court proceeding we found this gem on the Internet and are we glad we did..The house is beautiful tho under minor renovation in parts which doesn’t hinder the operation in the least…The bedrooms are beautiful and cozy and each have their own private bathrooms…They have a beautiful living room which is open to all to go sit and play games or just sit and enjoy a nice drink of wine and conversation as we did…Tea and coffee are available at all times in the breakfast area..In the morning a tasty breakfast is cooked by the wonderful hostess Elizabeth and served by her cheerful husband Glenn…These two are DEFINETELY in the right job as are the most accomadating, friendly, obliging couple who we were so Blessed to have met…We went to their home as strangers and left as Friends and will be back for sure…If you looking for a home away from home this is the place for you!

We had an amazing stay. The owners were great and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodations were top notch and we met some incredible people during our stay. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to everyone.

We loved our stay at Seabank House. Glenn and Liz were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We chose the dinner option that was offered to us and it was amazing, as was breakfast in the morning! I would highly recommend Seabank House for a great stay in Pictou, NS.

Wonderful stay. Home away from home, Delicious and hearty hot breakfast prepared for us before our departure. It was a pleasure to meet the owners and chat about the adventure that brought them to the east coast! Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

My husband, sister and I stayed at the Seabank House for the Pictou Hector 250 celebrations, and it exceeded all my expectations. The personal touch of Glenn & Elizabeth made us feel right at home, and their great local recommendations helped us explore the area like a local. The beautiful historical home was the perfect place to stay for an extended period, and I loved how it was situated in a prime location to explore the area. And let’s not forget Glenn’s delicious homemade pie crust - the apple pie was the perfect way to top off our unexpected day of rest due to Hurricane Lee. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
