普勒滕貝格飯店(The Plettenberg Hotel)

Angekommen wurde uns mitgeteilt wir hätten bei Booking leider ein falsches Datum eingegeben , doch wir sollten ruhig einchecken es würde von ihnen gändert ohne Probleme . Stunden später wurden wir aufgefordert einen Aufpreis zu bezahlen . ( am Tag damach kostete das Zimmer auf Booking wieder normal wie wir bezahlt hatten ) . Wir bezahlten hatte. ja schon das Zimmer benützt , sonst wöre ich abgefahren . Schwimmbad veraltet , nur leicht beheizt zu kalt um zu schwimmen , war leer . Liegewiese beim Pool teils nur im Schatten . Die "weissen " Geschäftsführer hochnässig . Zimmerservice am Abend kam als wir schon im Bett waren , Frühstück absolut keine 5 Sternehotel , Service mangelhaft , Auswahl und Qualitöt hatten wir in den B&B besser . Fazit Preis Leistung stimmt absolut nicht . Kein 5 Sternehotel.

Tolle Lage, direkt oberhalb vom Traumstrand, sehr komfortabel 2 schöne rel. kleine Pools, prima Frühstück auf der Terrasse, Zimmer zur Strasse hin (trotz Sackgasse) etwas laut ...laut redende Personen/ Gäste abends ... kleines Fitnessstudio

Un albergo di fascino sul mare con un arredamento marino molto ricercato e di gran gusto. Bellissima camera vista mare e personale gentilissimo. Colazioni ottime con grande scelta e con vista sulla prima balena sudafricana! Gli spazi comuni ti danno un senso di casa vissuta con classe e non di un hotel

Un emplacement idéal, face à la mer. Un service deplorable: du check in , en passant par la restauration ( petit dejeuner et diner) et même en chambre. Manque d'accueil, de chaleur, de sourire, d'engagement , de compétence et ou de formation de l'équipe de cet hotel 5 étoiles, pas du tout au niveau attendu. Nous aurions pu etre dans airbnb nous aurions été mieux accueillis. Nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement pour son niveau de service deplorable.

Exceptional experience at The Plettenberg celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Drank champagne overlooking the ocean with a full moon overhead. Excellent breakfasts and dinner and absolutely beautiful rooms. Thanks to Aldo for arranging a room with a bath and also special thanks to Diana and Thandeka. We were sad to leave! Could have done 3 more days

We stayed at the Plettenberg as part of our Garden Route road trip. The Bay itself is absolutely stunning and the Hotel has commanding views across to the mountains in the distance. Our room was delightful and beautifully appointed. The staff are without exception friendly, helpful and cheerful which creates a wonderful a**osphere within the Hotel. We would highly recommend staying here as part of the Garden Route tour.

We loved our stay in The Plettenburg. The rooms were clean and the location was ideal for us to get to get to the local area and only a short drive to other activities we had planned such as sky diving and canyoning. We would highly recommend. Thank you.

The Plettenberg is a really beautiful hotel overlooking the ocean. We were helped with our cases into the lobby which was very bright and welcoming. We were given a delicious tea and a refreshing towel which was a lovely touch. We were taken to our suite which was perfectly located on the top floor in the adjacent building. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, with decor that was tasteful and felt homely. The lounge area being perfect to enjoy the complementary mini bar with a view. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night which was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed our meal. There are security outside the hotel which gives reassurance when walking across the road to the other building where our room was. Breakfast was fantastic, with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. There is a continental buffet, with hot food ordered from the a la carte. The manager of the hotel spoke to us one morning, introduced herself and we talked about our trip. She was very friendly and we really appreciated her taking time to speak to the guests. The pool area at the adjacent building is perfect, not overcrowded and has a panoramic view. There is an indoor lounge area which is ideal to escape the sun - we also had lunch in here which was great. There is a lovely walk along the beach - accessed from directly outside the hotel and taking the path on the left. We would highly recommend The Plettenberg.

Stunning hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. Just a short walk to Main Street where the shops & restaurants are located. Our room was large and spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished. The dining area for dinner and breakfasts is a lovely area with outside seating overlooking the ocean. We loved the view for morning breakfast! The staff are superb, very attentive and super helpful with any questions you may have about the area and recommendations of places to visit. All round, a high quality hotel in a perfect location!
