I have been staying at this City Lodge for a number of years, but not through Covid so happy they are still up and running again. This City Lodge is in the perfect location close to the freeway, airport and a number of great value eateries! Value for money, friendly staff, safe parking and great rooms.

The reception and bar look lovely and that is where it ends. We had lunch and breakfast there m, it was ok. The outside needs a coat of paint and so does the inside. They showed us to our room. I then googled what we paid for and this was the basic room. Back to reception and we waited to another room was ready. It was more than double the size. It desperately needed painting and updating. Towels where well worn and furniture old. The terrace was broken with bits of tiles everywhere. The pool was dirty. The tiles broken and a sewage smell. There was lots of noise from the road and bars. There was nothing to do in the town we only stayed for the airport and that was a mistake. Avoid they have really let this get run down.

Airport Road Lodge was as always excellent. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff at this establishment is always professional and eager to help. They are knowledgeable of the industry and are willing to give very good advice to customers.

This used to be one of the best hotels in Port Elizabeth, but it has lost its charm. Checking was a nightmare and no manager in sight. The receptionists are very incompetent and have no manners whatsoever. They need to be reminded as to whom is paying their salaries. Breakfast service was poor, with chipped plates and coffee cups being given to us. For the price paid and what I received, I would have assumed I was in a hostel. Just left and went to wimpy where the service and meals were on standard. Will never be back and will ensure that my company books elsewhere next time.

We visited PE as part of our SA holiday and spent three very enjoyable nights at Carslogie. The Guesthouse is a very friendly family run business and is located a short walk to the beach and the coastal path. The rooms have a very nice setting, around the swimming pool. We chose Room 4, which also accommodates a sofa bed. The room and en-suite were very spacious. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order.

We were family of four looking for one night stay in Port Elizabeth. We booked Admiralty Beach Guest house last minute looking for nice place for the night. It did not disappoint and was the perfect place to stay in Port Elizabeth, close to the beach, the shops and everything we needed. The owners themselves run the property and do great job. Breakfast was great with everything one would need. Will definitely stay here again and happy to recommend it to anyone visiting Port Elizabeth.
