This is BY FAR the best hotel you can stay at in Prairie du Chien. It is so clean, conveniently located and best value for the money. Hands down better than anywhere else available in the area.

We come back every year in November for five days. We would not stay anyplace else. The staff are amazing!

Property has easy hwy access to everywhere! Had a great time for my birthday and 40th Anniversary! Front desk staff was very accommodating as they knew weve never been to Prairie du Chien before. Did not care for breakfast items offered but LOVED the coffee. Bought some locally to take home. Will return to this hotel as I doubt there's any better!

A nice, very clean hotel overlooking the Mississippi River -- be sure to get a river view room. A good breakfast, a friendly place, a good bargain...

Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Only negative was room layout, drapes covered heater/air conditioner. Location of lamp in suite reflected light on the bed and switch was on the cord making it difficult to use.

Walking in this hotel is very cute and accommodating. The room is very up to date, but on the "cold" side when it comes to decorating the rooms. There was only a nightstand between the 2 beds; no dresser to put anything other than a tiny little table under the tv. There was a wardrobe area as well. I did like the "wood" floors rather than carpeting. The darkened shade was a big plus, but the long heavy curtains over the top of a heating/air conditioning unit didn't make sense. The bathroom door didn't close from the inside,but did close from the outside; kinda weird. The best part of the whole thing was the breakfast in the morning.

It was very fresh and modern. The staff was very hospitable. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast area very inviting. We also enjoyed going up to the bar for a drink and light snack. We will be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy sitting out by the river.

Beautiful view of the back waters of the river. The area is quiet and The Backwater grill attached to the hotel is just wonderful. The rooms are super clean and the beds are heavenly. A
