Hôtel au milieu d'un golf. Parties communes très jolie, mais chambre dans un état de délabrement très avancé. Literie usée. Traces de saletés sur les murs. Un gros morceau de métal sortait du lit, extrêmement dangereux avec des enfants. Personnel pas à l'écoute à l'accueil. Petit déjeuner excellent et la dame en salle était très agréable et serviable. Piscine glaciale donc inutilisable. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel en raison de la chambre délabrée.

Beautiful location and friend staff. The food was delicious as well. Unfortunately the entire hotel needs a deep deep clean and a major update. This could be an easy 5 out of 5 stars with fixing those two things. The hotel is away from most things which is very nice for relaxing but makes visiting town requiring more work and takes more time.

This hotel, a bit of a drive from the center of town in Princeton, offered a comfortable and elegant stay for my husband and I on a two-night getaway. Our room was airy and spacious, with a loft-type ceiling and tasteful decor. The heated salt-water indoor pool was welcome after a day of running around, and so was the comfortable lobby (with fireplace and comfy chairs) and bar. The included breakfast featured made-to-order omelets and a very kind and attentive staff. Maybe because our trip was at a time of year when little was going on, we got an excellent room rate. We were surprised and pleased at every step of our stay. I had read some negative reviews about the property needing an update, but the facilities we encountered were all relatively new, stylish, clean and comfortable. If we are in the area again, we'll book at the Chauncey Conference Hotel again.

Our stay was a true delight, enhanced by so many cozy gracious corners scattered throughout the hotel in which to sit undisturbed with a friend or a book. Also notable was the unusual genuine warmth of every member of the large staff. One disappointment - the menu for dinner at their on-site restaurant offered limited not very tasty veggie fare. We’d certainly re turn, but eat in Princeton, 10 minutes down the road.

I am so disappointed in this hotel. We arrived on a Friday and stayed until Sunday for a memorial/funeral. When we arrived in the early afternoon, there were no clothing hangers. We were told they could not find us any hangers because the hotel was full and there was going to be a wedding on Saturday and they needed all our hangers. The two people at the desk, Q and Fatima said there was no way they could find hangers for us and they made no effort to acquire any. Might I also say they were quite rude that I was even asking for hangers. Surely it was impossible there were none in a building of multiple rooms. Finally on Saturday night they hung 4 metal hangers on our door handle, which we didn't find since we used a direct entrance into our room from the lawn. And to top it off, the we arrived they said we would not get service (clean towels etc.) because we didn't ask ahead for it... How were we to know? Pool was nice, but no towels one day(and no effort to get us any), breakfast was OK. Overall, what a disappointment for these accommodations, at this sad time in our lives it just was a horrible attitude for a hotel.

The grounds are lovely. We brought our dog and it was great to be able to walk out the door and have paved trails and then a hiking trail to access. It was a perfect location for our needs. The housekeepers and restaurant staff were very pleasant. Some updates would be welcome such as newer mattresses and ports to charge cell phone and devices.

Very disappointed, expensive, overcharged from quoted price, no room service, no where to have evening dinner, pool closed, rude staff. Why would no clean towels for 5 days. Why would I recommend this place.

My stays at Chauncey are always great. The employees are just wonderful and incredibly nice. As for cleanliness, never had a problem. The rooms are great and all the amenities, like the pool and bar, are tidy and clean.
