阿韋利諾歷史別墅住宅(Villa Avellino Historic Residence)

Accommodate is good, too bad the hair dryer was not working properly only on cold air, this can be fixed. We stayed while there was a wedding reception so very noisy with loud music till late. Location not very good for tourists.

La villa all’esterno è suggestiva , così come la sua posizione . Personale cortese e disponibile . Ho soggiornato in appartamento family suite in formula b&b, sono molto spaziosi ma necessitano di qualche manutenzione . Pulizia delle camere lascia un po’ a desiderare , anche se ho fatto presente in reception . Cuscini dei divani sporchi ed infine colazione scarsa per essere un quattro stelle . Peccato

il palazzo ( credo dell'inizio del XVIII secolo) è molto bello e molto ben posizionato. ciò detto le camere hanno un livello di finitura pietoso. per accedere alla mia bisognava scendere tre gradini, alti e stretti, senza parapetto né corrimano. inoltre, la sera andava fatto a tentoni poiché non c'era modo di accendere la luce all'ingresso. bagno senza un piattino o un bicchiere per spazzolino, saponetta ecc. né la possibilità di chiudere il box doccia. alle mie rimostranze mi è stato risposto che la ristrutturazione era stata fatta nel 2011 in maniera inadeguata.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Avellino. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was large and very comfortable with daily cleaning services. It was a short walk down to the harbor, where there are many restaurants, or to the train station to go to Naples.

We loved our short stay at Villa Avellino. The rooms are wonderful (except for the shower which needs to be redone as it is rusted at places and some of the fixtures are broken). The location is excellent if you want to explore by foot.

Pros: Location: few steps from city center, train station and close to attractions like the amphitheater and Rione Terra. Structure: Historical building that dates from the XVI century, passing through many owners, one of them an Italian archaeologist (where the name came from). Carefully and smartly restored with detailed attention; symmetrical corridors, stairs and arches. Rooms: Really comfy. We got a room with loft, very comfy, perfect for families and complete of kitchenette. Food: The bistrot in the ground floor. All breakfasts were served in the courtyard (chic dining under the stars!) with individual trays (continental breakfast, croissant, melba toasts, yogurt, sweet mousse, butter, juices and hot beverage). Possible to have others like omelettes at an extra cost. In one occasion we had lunch there which we ordered a pasta dish, club sandwich and beverages, were plentiful. Services: we appreciated the most: carpark and laundry room. Staff: All professional and friendly, the most sympathetic are the restaurant guys. Cons: Wasn’t a big issue but a deeper cleansing of the rooms, some repairing, repainting and removing molds will make it not just great but grandiosely outstanding! We adored staying there and we missed it when we arrived to our next hotel. P.S.1 There are some Roman era structures in the premises of this hotel like the cistern, not in good shape to visit and lots of Roman era artifacts were found here and they are exposed in the museum-castle in Bacoli under the street name. P.S.2 Certain times can smell the rotten-eggs smell, is normal we are in the Phlegraean Fields.

View from across the street was beautiful. Staff friendly. The room needed some remodeling repairs. Needed paint... evidence of mode around terrace doors. The view from the terrace was disappointing. Problems with billing

Nice area great views ,rooms need some decor felt dusty and needed a good clean . We booked a 2 bedroom apar**ent which apparently does not exist ...... we got a 1 bed with a sofa bed in the living area and had to pay extra to get another room as this was not suitable for us

A perfect blend of privacy and access to town. Beautiful views and gardens, accommodating staff, and convinient parking really make this a comfotable stay.
