夢想藍寶石裡維埃拉坎昆全包飯店(Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa)

The facility is very well equipped and we had so much to do. Personally, I spent a lot of time at the pool and in front of the beach, but also spent time practicing tennis, went to gym, to balance the good amount of eating and drinking there. There’s also a pool table (although I feel it needs better equipment), a club, a cafe, a healthy eating cafe and so much more. We had a good time overall

The service and staff were wonderful, I can't take that away from them, but the property is very old and outdated for the prices they charge. The not so fresh fruit and small can of Pringles is not the way you show appreciation to your guests. The pool closing at 5pm through the week and 7 on the weekend was horrible, especially when you really didn’t have great activities available. The Dreams resort in the Dominican Republic had dancers, fire shows, fireworks, so many performances, that made me fall in love with Dreams resort, and Dreams Sapphire do not compare not one bit. The food was ok, and yes I expected better. I feel as if they also need more entertainment for the adults. Yes it’s a kids friendly resort but my goodness karaoke and a sports bar was it!!!! Yall need to lower your prices or do better.

Tiene una alberca muy hermosa y atracciones para niños. Esta construida entre manglares y a pesar de la destrucción de esto respetan a la fauna que quedó eso esta bien. El servicio en el SPA es maravilloso. La comida en los diferentes restaurantes es buena. Hay que caminar mucho para llegar a las habitaciones. Nunca hay toallas para alberca y playa y eso es un gran problema asi que recomiendo llevar la propia. La playa no es linda pero eso no es culpa del hotel sino del sargazo. Y bueno anoche nos salió una cucaracha en la cama y eso estuvo terrible. Asi que si me gustó pero no pretendo volver.

Hola me gusto de mi estancia en Dreams la atencion del personal, muy buena y amables. Las comidas miy ricas y excelente variedad, grupos de animación muy entrtenidos. Me gusto un 9 de 10

When we arrived our room was extremely hot. We brought our concerns to our VIP concierge and the issue was not fixed. Our VIP concierge told us the temperature in the room could not go below 24 degrees Celsius, but in the other rooms we reserved for our family their room temperature were 20 degrees Celsius. We were hot for 4 days. No staff offered to relocate us to another room or fix the issue. The master bathroom was infested with ants. On Saturday, when we returned to the room from our excursion there was a huge puddle of water coming from the ceiling. On our departure, it was time to checkout, the hotel would not let us leave because there was a discrepancy with the cost for transportation. My Amstar contact Olivia and Alexis sent me an email stating I would pay $74 for one group for transportation and $74 for another group’s transportation. At checkout the VIP concierge Roberto told me I owed $296. Then he told me I was supposed to pay $74 per person riding. (Which was 6 people. That total would have been $444.) Then he charged my card $301.10. We almost missed our flight because we were being held at the hotel.

This property was fine, is it 5 star, no. The staff make this wonderful and I would give them all 5 stars, but the food needs improvement and the resort could overall use an upgrade. The main issue is the main pool situation. So many people get up early (before 8am) to reserve pool chairs, there’s no chance if you’re a late riser. We got a chair 1day out of 5. We also purchased the preferred club, which allowed access to preferred pool, breakfasts and club. This was fine, but the preferred club has no breeze from the ocean due to its location on the resort. While the staff were wonderful, I wouldn’t stay again. We have been to the excellence resorts, and would stick with those. Hyatt needs to invest more money in this property. Bottom line- great service, staff, room for improvement every where else.
