達姆陳度假村(Damchen Resort)

It is terrible experience I had in Damchen ...we went there with family, but room offered was too conjusted & small...we were barely able to move within the room. When requested to staff, they upfront denied to change the room by saying all rooms are already occupied. After paying so much, it's very bad experience and I would never recommend anyone to go to this hotel and spend your hard-earned money. Thank you

We stayed at Damchen Resort for 1 night in Punakha. We were lucky to receive a free upgrade to a deluxe riverside room, and the room was amazing. True to the hotel name, it literally opened into the riverfront and was quite spacious, with a walk-in closet and an excellent bathroom to accompany the main room. The breakfast service was quite good, with the usual Indian options one finds in Bhutan. The dinner menu was decent as well, with the Indian dishes being better than the Chinese dishes, but was a bit lighter on the vegetarian options. Overall though, the food was satisfactory since the location of the hotel is such that there are no major restaurants nearby. There are some general stores and small cafes around 10 minutes away from the hotel, but the property is not near the city centre as such. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel in Punakha.
