埃庫斯套房飯店(Arcus Suites)

Die Unterkunft war leider modrig. Nach wenigen Stunden hatten schon alle unsere Klamotten den Geruch angenommen. Auch waren extrem viele Moskitos vorhanden. Mückengitter an den Fenstern gibt es nicht. Der Pool ist winzig und wegen der Moskitos nicht nutzbar. Die Küche ist nur spätlich ausgestattet.Parksituation sehr schlecht, da es oftmals im Dorf keine Parkplätze aufgrund bon Tagesbesuchern gibt. Wir mussten leider früher abreisen. Der Gastgeber kam uns hierfür nicht entgegen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen.

Mijn man en ik verschillen van mening. Ik vond het hier prachtig, het ontbijt meer dan zalig, aardige mensen! Wij waren hier eind oktober 2023 en verbleven in de Ontis suite. Deze suite is heel mooi, maar je moet wel eerst een trap op met hoge treden. Dus niet voor oudere mensen geschikt of mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Het huis is heel ruim, wel wat donker maar er is goede verlichting. De keuken is goed, met mooie koelkast, magnetron, tostimaker, afwasmachine etc. alleen 1 groot minpunt: er is een koffiemachine uit de jaren 80, nee dan zeg ik ‘waar is de moderne Nespresso met capsules die elk 5 sterren hotel heeft?’ Leuke verwelkoming met mousserende wijn, er is thee en filter koffie. Wij hebben die oude Krups koffiemachine niet gebruikt omdat we geen idee hadden hoe die te gebruiken. Een heerlijk bad die bubbles maakt. Het bed is ok. We zijn niet in het zwembad geweest die overigens wel wat klein is. Het dorp is klein met een bar en een souvenir shop en een klein supermarktje. Verderop is er een taverne, maar leuker is de auto te pakken en te gaan eten in de “Springs area” met leuke tavernes en watervallen. S avonds is er niks te beleven, alles is uitgestorven na 17:00 in de maand oktober. Geen idee hoe het is in het hoogseizoen. Maak mooie uitstapjes naar het Zuiden waar prachtige plekjes zijn te ontdekken! Ook Rethymnon is leuk!

The quality of the restoration of this magnificent old house and the beauty of the well maintained garden seduced us during our stay in April 2022. The place is very calm and relaxing. The presence of lemon trees allowed us to make our own juice in the morning. The house is ideally located in the small village of Argiroupolis, in the center of Western Crete, which allows you to explore the surroundings in all directions. The beautiful little town of Rethymon, on the north coast, is 30 minutes away and Plakias, on the south coast, is 35 minutes away. Chania is also only 55 minutes away. The only things that for us were not up to the standard of what one would expect from a "luxury suite" were the lack of servery equipment, the very limited bath amenities, the comfort of the bedding and the messiness, outside, near the suite. This was not catastrophic and can easily be improved. We thank our host, Yiannis Deligiannakis, for his thoughtfulness and availability.

Très belle demeure. Superbe accueil et petit déjeuner plus que copieux. Un verre de bienvenue nous attendait. Pas facile à trouver car dans une petite ruelle peu accessible en voiture. Yanis was a very friendly host who welcomed us with lots of information and suggested walks around the local area. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with stunning views in a mountainous location. There was a slight musty smell, and I feel ithe apartment would have benefited from more ventilation prior to our arrival. There was a comfortable, large king size bed, although we felt the bedding was quite dated. The terrace, where we were served a delicious Cretian breakfast, overlooked the beautiful swimming pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Arcus Suites and would recommend this rustic hill top location.

Excellent choice for peace and relaxation. The landscape calms you down and removes all unnecessary worries by offering a little magic in the narrow streets of this beautiful village. The unique, warm and well-kept space guarantees an unforgettable stay...

Situé dans le très joli village d’Argyroupoli, l’hôtel est un havre de paix. La restauration du bâti historique est magnifique. Les chambres sont vastes et très bien équipées. Le jardin et la piscine sont splendides. Les propriétaires sont charmants, accueillants, toujours prêts à nous renseigner si besoin. Quatre séjours à cet endroit, tout est parfait !

Recommandé par notre guide préféré, plus d excellents avis , nous avons pensé avoir le meilleur hotel du sejour Hélas, 3 fois hélas Joli cadre oui mais La chambre : du salpêtre sur les murs , un tableau électrique avec des lumières vertes et rouges de partout la nuit , un réfrigérateur que l on doit débrancher pour dormir vu le bruit émis , des machineries qui se déclenchent vers 23 h sous cette chambre La salle de bains : abattant wc cassé, pommeau de douche qui ne tient pas , joint baignoire noir, fenêtre aération sdb bloquée Le petit-déjeuner :correct mais rien d exceptionnel, fruits de saison : on vous apporte des pommes et des bananes ( les figues et le raisin sont oubliés ) , jus d orange industriel comme le quatre - quart ... Ménage : aucun ménage durant le séjour, produits de salles de bains en bouteille plastique Bref le plus mauvais rapport qualité prix de tous les hôtels de notre séjour Je ne recommande absolument pas sauf si le cadre vous suffit
