SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Point Richmond

Best Hotel in Richmond certainly!

It's a good place to stay, clean room, the lobby was smelly but I believe it's because we're close to the port and the front doors are open. I'll came back here if I ever need a last minute reservation. FYI: ***We need more young guys like the one who checked me in (Sat 22nd, 2023) A service from him, I came back Sunday morning to report a TV failure and this young laddy was totally the opposite from this guy, she was caring more about her cellphone than what I was saying :-( ***You can barely hear the construction next door.

All the fixtures in the room were fairly new. It looked new. There is a railway track near the inn. We could hear horn, trains passing by many times. It did not bother us as we had ways to muffle the noise. The place was very cold due to the fact that it is close to the bay. That is just an observation, not an issue with the inn itself. I liked the fitness center. There is a resistance machine, treadmill, but no weights.

Upon arriving there was no one at the front desk. There was two people in front of me waiting. We had to wait for a while until the front desk showed up. The room was clean and suitable for price i paid. There were some things that could have been better. The door to the room seemed like it was kicked or something had happened to it before. It didnt close tightly by itself and had to be pulled shut tight. The shower pressure was really high and hurted my skin while showering. The breakfast and pool was decent. Overall stay was good.
