Lovely hotel, stayed for a long weekend and used the spa facilities - they gave us a free upgrade which was a nice touch! Beautiful grounds, restaurant was lovely and only a short scenic walk to the town
Only critique was the pool was quite small without much seating available and the sauna was male or female only - but the rest of the stay and amenities more than made up for it!
Also recommend the afternoon tea :)

One particular bar person was clearly not meant for hospitality, grumpy and not helpful at all. Pretty much ran out of any drink I wanted and the rooms were dated and too hot. Only saving grace was Kia (sp) in the morning at breakfast who was brilliant.

Hotel in great location. Lovely characterful building. Great grounds. Well decorated reception areas and some rooms. One of our rooms was quite newly decorated, one not. Both comfortable and clean. Spa area needs renovation, some old and tatty areas. Some bits not that clean. Great treatments though. Service in the hotel restaurant was slow, especially at breakfast. Breakfast expensive if you are paying on the day and it’s not in your room rate.

Lovely setting, very peaceful. Excellent breakfast. Cosy bar with very efficient and helpful bar staff. Comfortable room. Beautiful grounds. Will definitely return, good value for money and a great location.

Beautiful hotel & gardens. I had a lovely warm welcome from staff and my room was spotlessly clean & comfortable.
When I visit Tunbridge Wells again I’ll be staying at the Spa Hotel again.

The hotel was tired, our room smelt funny and so we opened the windows to try and freshen it up but there was a very busy road outside so it was noisy. The beds were very firm and uncomfortable.
Our room was not cheap and i think it was very overpriced for what it was.
The spa was very dated and definitely in need of a renovation or updating. The staff in the spa reception was inattentive and on their phones when we approached. Felt more leisure centre than relaxing spa.
