Room service was non existent, I called twice for room service and they took my orders but the food never came.

Amazing vacation. We would definitely come back. The service and hospitality was incredible.The property is a little older but the staff recommended some great excursions. Plenty to do both on and off premises.

Staff was very nice, caring and professional. Activities were fun and entertainment was great everyday and night. Nice peaceful beach setting. Will definitely stay there again.

The experience at Jewel Resort was not what I anticipated. I was hoping for a more authentic experience and the resort cater to more American. If you are seeking a more authentic experience, this is not the resort for you. The customer service was mixed. There was lack of communication with staff starting with check in. After a long flight and arrived at the check in window the front desk continuously informed us that our room would be ready in 15 minutes... Our room wasn't ready until 1 1/2 hours later and although we were seated by close to the front desk and ask if they can informed us when our room is ready: no one came and notify us. The resort was not what we imagined as it it a bit outdated. Areas such as buffet and hibachi had great customer services, but areas such as the one by the pool side had terrible customer service. There wasnt communication pertaining ordering food and once we order (burger) it took over an hour (there was only a couple other people within the area). Only once we were leaving the area is when we were told that our meal was ready. There were some plus such as the night club, bar, and excursions. Overall, I was disappointed by the experience. I would return to Jamaica, but will not return to Jewel resort.

The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience exceptional! Marlin the bartender at the Piano bar is the best!!!!!

Staff was wonderful. Butler service was outstanding and they went above and beyond expectations. Food was adequate. Bar selection was OK, they ran out of certain alcohols frequently. My only real complaint would be the lounge chairs on the beach were older and uncomfortable. Unfortunately this would stop me from booking here again since the beach is I where spend most of my time.

The buffet was really good and had lots of options including some traditional Jamaican dishes. Good food and drinks available around the clock. The entertainment shows on the weekends during dinner were lovely. My only complaints are our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3:15 even though check in was at 3 so there’s that. The bed hard and uncomfortable. Overall I would stay there again because the staff was very nice, affordable and good food.

Great small, quiet resort...food was solid, drinks were good, staff was great, coffee shop was great, felt very safe, workout room was ok, beach was ok

Stay was ok, but had some issues. Ex. Hostess whis seated us for dinner dis not give us menus. She had tjem in her hand and walkwd off with them. Also several timea at various meals the waitress took our drink order but did jot bring it out. And the staff seemed to pay more attention to locals who visited for the fay than staying guests.
