We were driving to Halifax from Bar Harbor as part of our vacation making a stop in Saint John. Hurricane Fiona hit Nova Scotia, talking to our hotel in Halifax they said visitors were not to come due to the damage and gave us a refund. I called Homeport to ask for a refund due to canceling our vacation and was told Homeport is ok so no refund not considering the extenuating situation or the disappoin**ent for our family canceling our vacation. Very poor customer service.

Tout était parfait: la chambre, le confort du lit, pleins de vieux livres avec espaces agréables pour les lire, déjeuners délicieux, belle vue du jardin sur le centre-ville et le port. Ne manquer pas de monter au Homeport Widows Watch, une petite pièce au dernier étage avec vue 360.

Bel établissement, j'ai beaucoup aimé la décoration. Avec, en plus, une superbe vue sur la ville.
Nos hôtes sont très gentils.
C'est très tranquille, j'ai très bien dormi.
Le déjeuner est succulent.

Très bel endroit qui nous plonge dans une autre époque. Fidèle à l'ambiance et l'esprit de la ville. Accueil chaleureux. Lit confortable et chambre très propre.

The room was nice and large. We had a nice view of the waterfront. Bed was comfortable. Check-in clerk was very nice. They made a nice bag breakfast since we had to leave early to catch a ferry. The history of the building was interesting. Warning- there is no air conditioning! It got rather muggy the night we were there. Open windows and fan helped cool it off after a while. In cooler months- no problem. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
