Tru 由希爾頓 - 聖路易斯市中心(Tru by Hilton St. Louis Downtown)

Very friendly hotel staff, nice hotel! My room was like a closet compared to the rest of the guest rooms in our party, also the parking is expensive per night.

Valet parking attendants were excellent, they were running back and forth to keep things going, extremely friendly, and helpful. When checking in there were three ladies sitting at the front desk but only one of them was checking people in, the other two were just sitting there even though there was a lobby full of guests to check in. The room key cards did not work for me for the entire stay. I saw many other people have issues as I was checking in as well. I arrived at the very end of breakfast and wanted to make a waffle. However, a worker unplugged the machine while I was waiting for the person in front of my to finish and while her waffle was still in the machine cooking.

When I checked into my room there were no towels in my room and there was old Chinese food sit in the refrigerator that I had to throw out because it smelt so bad when I open the refrigerator. The valet drivers asked me to park my car on the street because they had suspended valet services. I came out the next morning with my window busted out on my vehicle. This is my second time staying at this hotel. The elevators never work. The best thing at this hotel is the breakfast in the morning.

Our stay was fine but not happy with the staff, our daughter forgot her wedding ring and mother’s ring and when we contacted the hotel they said they didn’t find anything in the room which is a lie, so they are thieves and I will never stay there or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. $45 valet fee ABOVE the hotel price (unless you want to leave your car parked outside in downtown urban area) Charged me an extra $100 in “incidental fees” without my permission. Said I would get it back in 3-5 business days. Stains on the bed headboards. Elevators in bad shape. Never, ever would I stay here again. If I would have known before my trip I would have just driven the four hours back home after the cardinals game. Very very displeased with this.

Property was average - breakfast was above par but the card for the lights is inconvenient and the parking situation is terrible. 45 bucks a day to valet w no other option is unacceptable

I booked this hotel because it was close to the things I was doing while visiting St. Louis. I was a little nervous looking at the other reviews and I know St. Louis is having an issue with crime as in every big city. I also know this section of town is trying to get updated and so it looks a little rough at the moment, but Tru by Hilton is doing an excellent job of making their area of town look better. the hotel is really fabulous. Only complaint was that of course there’s no pool and they offer breakfast on the weekends until 10 AM but clearly have no desire to keep it restocked for those of us waking up late on a Sunday morning. I was a little disappointed, that at 9 what little was left was cold or completely empty so I suggest if they have breakfast till 10 AM that they literally keep the food coming piping hot coffee, etc. until 10 AM otherwise close down the kitchen at 9 AM. If that’s all you want to handle whether you have late sleeping customers or not. Again, the area around the hotel does not look the best but they are trying to update it. I do not think they should get blamed for the safety of the area because again they’re trying to make it better, but of course you have to be diligent in your own safety in St. Louis.

The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom floor and soaked my bag of the only clean clothes we had with us.
