確實沒有預料到在我們的蜜月期會有這麼一次驚喜的住宿。在十月,這個地方會變得既寒冷又泥濘,並且考慮到我是穿着厚重的婚紗而且這是一次户外的住宿,至少可以説這存在一些挑戰。事實上,當我知道我被帶去那裡,這本可以是一次很奇妙的體驗。我也會裝上登山靴和保暖內衣。帳篷確實很舒適可愛,但是需要用壁爐預熱。燃木頭的味道很棒,早上在主屋裡享用的早餐也很奇妙。這絕對是我第一次在用手電筒登記入住時得到了一個背包和對講機。這至少可以説是一段經歷!

Unglaublich schönes Erlebnis zu zweit. Die Pods werden gemischt besucht, Paare, Familien, Hundehalter etc. aber die Stimmung ist durchwegs freundliche und schön. Das Frühstück wurde zum Pod gebracht und auch sonst hat man alles was manch braucht. Wir hatten die Forest Suite, eine Pod-eigene Sauna mit Dusche rundet das einmalige Erlebnis ab. Den Sonnenaufgang um 06.15 wollte man unbedingt sehen (für mich als Langschläfer). Allgemein ist man eher früher wach.

L‘hotel se voit comme ‚eco luxury‘ mais la seile chose qui montre des signe de luxe sont les prix. le chalet est construct en super cheap avec des panneaux en OBS. équipment des chambers trè minimaliste, pas de déco, meme pas de table à côté du lit. Service au restaurant super lent et mal organisé. Je donne une deuxième étoile pour la cuisine comme tout était bon. Par contre des prix de luxe. 4 asperger’s pour 20.-, un côte de boeuf 80.- plus 8.- pour chaque accompagnement. Petit déjeuner très médiocre et un temps d‘attente pour un café ou pour un oeuf super lent. Meilleure chose: la vue

L’expérience valait le coup avec le rabais d’un bon QoQa (400.- la nuit basse saison pour deux avec crédit de 150.- restaurant) autrement, le prix est surfait pour le service qui est qualitatif, mais pas luxueux. Négatif : - Les parties communes trop petites et pas assez équipées pour 18 pods et 16 cabins. - le manque de calme, trop de pods, trop près, dans un rayon trop petit et des allez-retour de la voiturette des employés qui fait un bruit d’enfer… - le manque de vue à cause de la buée (en tout cas dans notre pod 15 dès notre arrivée) - la distance avec le restaurant et la réception. - le lieu qui est présenté comme en pleine nature sur les vidéos mais qui est en fait collé au village. - le restaurant pour le repas du soir. Positif : - l’accueil et les employés. - les pods, leur entretien, les attentions. - le sauna et bain (quand ils ne sont pas occupés…). - le petit déjeuner et Tea time. - les sentiers avec copeaux. - literie, hauteur sous plafond, taille. - côté cosy et facilité d’utilisation du poêle - la salle de douche - bouilloire machine à café, thé… Pistes d’amélioration : 1) agrandir ou créer un nouvel endroit les parties communes et proposer plusieurs sauna/hamam/ jaccuzzi espace détente/ espaces communs. Proposer quelques cours communs inclus dans la prestation. 2) acheter une voiturette silencieuse et électrique. 3) offrir des cours collectifs sportifs ou en lien avec la nature. 4) Proposer une carte végétarienne. 5) développer la communication en lien avec les transports en commun pour moins d’émissions de co2.

Wonderful experience in the heart of nature. The pods was 5 star. Everything was organised and clean. Helpful staff. Grate options for breakfast. Many activists to do. Reception area is very beautiful and the lady on reception is very friendly and helpful. They transferred our luggage to the pods while we walking to the pods.

Nous sommes venus avec un bon Qoqa et notre séjour c’est passé extrêmement bien. Il faut parquer la voiture à la réception avec possibilité de charger gratuitement puis monter à pied sur un sentier ou une petite route environ 15min pour arriver au lodge. Premier abord, on découvre une multitude de bulle qui fait moins rêver mais quand on est installé dans la nôtre le charme opère. La vue est incroyable et le bain finlandais en bas du restaurant est magique. Après avoir pris nos repères, nous sommes allés manger au restaurant qui se trouve en bas vers la réception, le retour sous les étoiles était idyllique. On reviendra c’est sûr.

Came to Whitepod to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a fabulous time. As an eco-luxury hotel, we were expecting something comfortable and well organized - and even a bit indulgent - but also expected it to have some elements that were rough-around-the-edges. We didn’t find any of those. Online check in was smooth and easy, and Najma provided great orientation, when we got there. Through her, we also booked meals and arranged activities. All of the staff at Whitepod were friendly and professional, going through extra mile to ensure we had a good time (eg, leaving us cake, even when we kissed afternoon tea because we were out in the mountains). Helpful to know ahead of time, if you’re thinking of visiting (our advice is re a summer 2022 visit): 1) part of the magic of Whitepod is how immersed in nature you are. Be prepared that you’ll be walking from reception up to your pod, and down again if you want to eat in the gastronomic restaurant. I would not recommend it if you have trouble walking up a steep or uneven path 2) as you would imagine at high altitude, dining options are limited. The gastronomic restaurant Cheniere is excellent - but menu selection is understandably small (everything is sourced locally). Gaia is an outstanding member of the team, there And, also on the dining front, hike-able (30-45 mins) Auberge de Chindonne has a gorgeous view, friendly team, and delicious food (including BBQ!) Finally, daily breakfast is super yummy. Not the biggest selection, but delicious and with fresh baked bread, fantastic cappuccinos and even a juicer. Ah, and of course, fire-grilled Rosti! Big call out to Roxanne who manages the whole Podhouse scene. Overall, a really enjoyable place to get into the mountains, slow down, chill on the deck of your pod, and do as many or as few activities as you like!

Enjoyed two nights (a recommended minimum to be there!) with wife and baby. Amazing place, would definitely go again for the Swiss Pod. Excellent breakfast: not a huge choice, but superb quality of local food. This is exactly my taste. Roxane at breakfast and tea time did a great job, the same as the (apparently new) GM Jonas, who looks after every guests. If you hesitate to book: just book and enjoy!

Definetly not what I call a LUXURY hotel, a lot of details missing and poor customer service. Apparently my COVID certificate was expired (I live in Switzerland and it was the first time I had problems with this). Anyway they said I couldn't go to the restaurant so I said ok but when they said I couldnt go into the hottub which is OUTDOORS and I'd be ALONE with my couple I couldnt accept it because we paid for it. There was a lot of miscommunication, the receptionist Michela was a bit aggressive when we tried to solve the problem with the covid pass and enter the bath and hottub. First they said I couldnt go in the restaurant because my last vaccination was over 4 months ago, then since my partner's certificate was working they said it's 9 months validity, after that they didn't accept a negative test, then they said I couldnt go into the outdoor pool (outdoor! being alone with my partner!), after that apparently I could go into the restaurant but not the pool... since we were very disappointed because what we were expecting the most was the hot bath, we asked them to show us the law and regulations and we finally showed them that the restrictions were for INDOOR pools and they had to let us go in. But they had no idea about the regulations since they told us 5 different things and two of the girls were not helpful at all, they just refused to let us go in without trying to find a solution or compensation. Fortunately we dealt with Sophie who finally helped us but the overall experience was really stressing and frustrating. First of all the hall was definitely not the place to discuss this since there were other clients checking in and it looks so unprofessional, we offered them to go somewhere else to talk about that but they stayed there. Second, it was FOUR of them against us which was a bit intimidating, Michela jumped into the conversation in a very aggressive way just saying "this is the law, I dont make it" and stuff like that. We lost more than one hour there (taking into account the high price of the stay this was precious time) to finally find out that we were right and that since it was an outdoor pool and we were both vaccinated, we could go in. Apparently we were also allowed in the restaurant so finally they let us in (otherwise they charge 25chf extra for room service). Apart from this, there were a lot of thing to mention from the pod. The screen of the iPad was a bit broken. The bed is not as comfortable as expected, we pay a lot and we expect a big double bed but we found two small beds joined together plus there were two individual quilts. This was super uncomfortable because you look for being warm under the quilt with your partner and it's impossible with two small quilts so basically it was like if we were sleeping separate otherwise it was too cold. Also the upper beds were not prepared, even if we are only two and we won't use them it doesn't look very good to have just the mattress there (a bit dirty I must say), I wou
