Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Airport

This Hyatt hotel offers affordable rates. They have several room options, which was appealing to me. The rooms were clean and had a decent amount of space. There are a few things that I did not particularly like. I did not like how toiletries were mounted to the shower in large bottles versus individual bottles for personal use. Also each queen size bed had three pillows. These beds are intended for two people and I feel two pillows per person is most common. Lastly, I was highly dissatisfied with the $10/day charge for parking. The hotel is not located in a busy part of town so to charge for parking is absolutely ridiculous.

The rooms are safe, comfortable, convenient, spacious, warm, and inviting. all in all the property is wonderful. the one thing I can't figure out is that they have a hot Cocoa station down in the lobby that they make a big deal about. But the entire time I was there. There was never any hot water for hot cocoa. Very. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay

My daughter arrived before I did and texted: This place is NICE! And really, it was wonderful. So comfortable I wanted to stay longer-- unfortunately late check out was not available that day. 24 shuttle was key, with delayed flights and airport mess during the holidays.

Will not stay again. I believed the Hyatt brand was quality. Not here. Grubby. Old. Worn. Thin floors. Doors that slam, no hydraulics. No jacuzzi. Pool closed. No restaurant. No alcohol. No chance I’ll be bacj.

I had a late night flight into SLC and was traveling alone, so I really appreciated how quickly the shuttle arrived at the airport. The check in smooth and all the staff I met helpful and kind. This is a clean, convenient hotel.

We specifically wanted to at the Hyatt Place because we've could eat and drink there. But this one had run out of food. It is in an area with almost no restaurants and they refused to take us to a nearby one. They did offer to pay the Uber bill if we went to their other property, which we didn't. We checked out and stayed at the MicroTel next door, whose driiver took us to get something to eat.

It was okay, we first stayed at Double Tree and that was run down, no safety with 2 female staff members who seemed super new, smelled like smoke everywhere and all rooms have an adjoining door, didn’t feel safe at all. The Hyatt was a tiny bit better, I wouldn’t stay there again though.

The rooms are nice and really clean! The free breakfast is amazing especially when you have kids. The airport is kinda loud but we travel with a sound machine so it doesn’t bother us and kids love to watch the planes!
