鹽湖城東希爾頓惠庭飯店(Home2 Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City-East)

Grossly unclean. We were sticking to the tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom so badly we had to use a towel to wipe them off, which gave an up-close view of how long it’s been since they were deep cleaned. Visible dirt and grime around the edges. Doors, walls, couch were all visibly dirty, and the bathroom looked/smelled like it was growing things. If we’d gotten there earlier in the evening we would have left. Maybe the housekeeper knew how bad it was, since she tried coming into the room at 8:30 in the morning while we were still in there.

The Pro’s King Suite: -The hotel is very nice and staff are pleasant. -The room was very big. Huge bathroom; entire room nice and very clean. -Nice pool, exercise area and general amenities. The Cons: -The shower curtain was missing. They installed one but the shower did not work and fixtures were loose. - Both wall air conditioners were noisy. - practically no parking and very tight.

First off I had never spent a night at a hotel with a basement. As the elevator door opened on floor 1 I was unpleasantly supeised by the smell. It smelled like they had a sweage problem. Yuck! After speaking to some friends I possible that it was from the pool. What ever it was it never went away. Dont think I will ever go back.

It was good do the most part. Our ac/heat unit was rattling and made it hard to sleep and it could have been a bit cleaner, the handles on the kitchen drawers ans cupboards were sticky and dirty, but the bathroom was nice and clean, it was just that the bathroom door didn’t lock. Would be really nice to have smart tvs as majority of hotels do now, but we made it work. We loved how much storage and counter space there was, so nice not to have luggage sprawled out all over the floor. The location was great, nice views too. Right by Walmart and gas station too if you need anything. Customer service was great, staff was friendly and helpful. The carts for luggage carriers were in pretty bad shape so it was kind of difficult, but we made it work. The breakfast buffet was good, nice selection. My kids wished there was a couple more waffle irons as those are always a favorite and seem to be a hit with others so there was a wait to get a waffle.

Love staying here when in SLC. In town but on Foothills Drive which means near the mountains. Complimentary breakfast is better than most. Fitness room has extras like Peloton, multiple treadmills, free weights, medicine balls & is open 24 hours. Rooms have full kitchen, a couch & pull-out dining table so feels more like home than a hotel room.

Location was great. However, perhaps it was just our room, but upholstery was badly stained on the couch and desk chair, while the shower door was badly in need of a deep scouring or replacement and mold in corners of the shower. One bathroom tile was also loose. The room was superficial clean, but heavily worn.

I have stayed at this hotel before. Wonderful stay that time. This time: Room 300. FREEZING. No heat. I was with my granddaughter. If we were in the room, we had to be under the covers with extra blankets. I did inform the front desk. They said they had complaints and had a heating service come in, but nothing was fixed.
