The hotel is situated within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) from the main station where train arrives from Vienna. The buffet breakfast which comes with it is very good. The owner and manger of the place is super helpful and nice in arranging for taxi and giving very good advices for running around.

We had two rooms for a family of 5. My teen age girls loved their family room and our double room was excellent. The rooms were new, clean and had excellent fittings. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was outstanding. Laslo the breakfast chef produces an amazing buffet each morning and was very welcoming. Location had easy access to the bus. A wonderful place to stay.

Il s'agit d'une villa divisée (depuis peu) en chambres. Celle que nous avions était de dimension moyenne, avec peu de rangements, une literie correcte. La salle de bain est de même acabit : le manque de rangement pour déposer sa trousse de toilette est notable, mais l'ensemble est très propre et les matériaux sont de très bonne qualité. La climatisation est très efficace, et le double vitrage permet une bonne insonorisation. La villa se trouve à 5 minutes de la gare à pied, ce qui est pratique. Mais l'ancienne ville, centre névralgique de Salzbourg, se situe à 30 minutes à pied (en longeant la rivière, ce qui peut donner l'occasion d'une jolie promenade). Le petit-déjeuner est soigné, avec de bons produits. Nous avons pu récupérer notre chambre plus tôt que prévu, ce qui est très avantageux. L'accueil et le personnel sont très agréables. Le prix nous a semblé un peu élevé pour cette prestation, mais à Salzbourg tout est cher !

Really smart and clean b&b only a 15min walk from the city centre and a 5min walk from Salzburg train station. Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast service was excellent with a very chirpy gentleman supervising who made us a boiled egg when we asked for one, it seemed nothing was too much trouble. Whoever makes the egg frittatas needs an award - they were incredible! I wish I could have taken some home or asked for the recipe. Shower in room was dreamy with excellent water pressure. Only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the mattresses. They're rock hard. I didn't sleep very well and at first couldn't work out why I couldn't get comfortable and I soon realised it was the solid mattresses. Also only one very thin pillow each was provided. We did ask for additional pillows which they provided, but you should be given two as standard because they're very thin.

Ho soggiornato una sola notte in questo piccolo hotel poco distante dalla stazione di Salisburgo. Una sola notte ma sufficiente per avere un'idea dell'ottimo lavoro del gestore. La struttura si presenta bene, sembra che sia stata ristrutturata di recente. La città vecchia di Salisburgo non è vicinissima ma si raggiunge con una piacevole camminata di circa 15 - 20 minuti. Le camere sono moderne, sufficientemente spaziose (sicuramente lo sono per una persona ma nella camera dove ho soggiornato sarebbe stata adeguata anche ad accogliere due persone), estremamente pulite. I letti sono molto comodi. Le colazioni poi sono davvero ottime ed abbondanti, con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Il simpatico cameriere è a disposizione per servire delle omelette. Da segnalare anche l'attenzione prestata dal signor Flöckner ai suoi ospiti, nonché la cortesia sua e di tutto il personale. Vi consiglio però di comunicare il vostro orario d'arrivo se arrivate dopo le 18 perché la reception non è più occupata: nessun problema comunque, loro organizzano in modo da farvi trovare la chiave. Raccomando dunque caldamente questa struttura così come consiglio a tutti la visita della splendida Salisburgo.

Deze villa is vlakbij het hoofdstation van Salzburg. 5 minuten lopen. Het centrum is ook goed te bewandelen, 20 minuten langs een prachtige rivier. Mijn kamer was ruim, voorzien van alle gemakken. Het ontbijt is fantastisch en complimenten aan de man die elke ochtend het ontbijt tot een feestje maakt. Kamer is ruim, minpuntje is dat het wel wat warm is in de kamer en de afzuiger in de douche is wel wat lawaaierig. In de omgeving van de villa zijn voldoende tentjes om te eten of te drinken. Verder een makkelijke toegang in het hotel met toegangspas, geen omkijken naar personeel. Al met al een fijne plek om te overnachten.

We bleven 1 nacht in Salzburg, Villa Flöckner, als stop richting het zuiden. Heel propere kamers, lekkere airco, mooie badkamer met zalige douche. Ontbijtruimte is echt mooi, met goed ontbijt en een kok die erop staat je aan te bieden wat je hebben wil. De parking achter de villa is ruim, wat ook weer een geruststelling is. Recht tegenover het hotel is een bushalte die je in 2 à 3 haltes naar het centrum brengt. Villa Flöckner is in een rustige wijk gelegen van Salzburg, wat buiten het centrum maar ook niet te ver buiten het centrum.

We stayed in Salzburg as part of a 2 week tour of Germany and Austria. The Villa Flockner was definitely one of the better hotels we stayed in. The location is perfect - 10 minute walk from the train station, 15 minute walk from the Mirabel Palace. And Salzburg is a great city for walking. Our room was fine - two single beds aligned vertically to make the most of the room dimensions. What we liked was the huge amount of storage space in our room - plenty of shelving to put all your travel bits and pieces. We found out that the owner had architected the rooms herself. Finally, a special mention to Laszlo (apologies for any mispelling of his name), the breakfast chef. The breakfast was sooo tasty - the best on our trip. And, Laszlo was, as others have mentioned, incredibly attentive to everyone and super polite - what a nice guy!
