哈希恩達老城貝斯特韋斯特優質飯店(Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel Old Town)

First off, this is a beautiful hotel in the heart of old town. Do not stay here if you are traveling with anyone who can’t do stairs, or hills or is handicapped. The hotel is HUGE. And spread out. It was extremely difficult to find our room and parking was a disaster. Rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL.

徹底享受我們的住宿。房間很寬敞，有一個單獨的區域，裡面有第二台電視和帶迷你廚房的沙發床。場地很漂亮，就在老城區的中間。肯定會再呆在那裡！

Stood in line to check-in for twenty minutes before reaching the front desk. Check-in is at 4:00pm. Most places it is 3:00pm. No drain plug in the bathtub. No elevator to the street level front desk from building six. Loud party in the room next door and the house next door. No security. I checked out at 10:30pm. Could not stand the noise. Would not recommend this place and will not stay here again. They should have refunded the room price but of course they did not.

We arrived a bit early and were told our room was not ready but they would call us when it was ready. So we left to walk around to kill time. 2 hours later I called myself and was told that yes it’s ready. Why they didn’t call, I don’t know. We got a room in building 4, facing the restaurants in Old Town. Nice view. Took us multiple tries to open the door. It gets stuck a lot and would not open, but finally did. The room was huge, clean but HOT! It was cold outside but hot and muggy inside, so we can the air conditioner. The bathroom sliding door also would not close without making a ton of noise. Left to dinner and came back to go to bed and rest. We noticed they left ear plugs and figured it was in case the passing train bothers us. The train did not bother us but The beds were so lumpy we all got up sore all over. Then in the middle of the night a really bad stench came into the room. Something happens in the parking lot of the restaurants that emits a foul odor. It was so horrible that, along with the lumpy bed kept me awake all night. But just as I was falling asleep from exhaustion, at around 5am, trash trucks come to pick up at that restaurant parking lot right outside our doors. Then another one came, and then another one. Then once they are gone, another truck comes that is either power washing or who knows what, but it make continuous noise for another hour or so. Then, another dump truck comes. From 5am until we left, at 11, it was no stop noise.

We had to cancel our trip the day before due to change on medical status my husband got too sick to travel (cancer decline) we had MD documentation but they refused to give us a refund due to their strick policy. No discussion just no refund I consider this bad customer service.

Loved the outside Hacienda style decor and surroundings of the hotel however, the room was a huge disappointment. I would not stay there again. The room smelled like mildew and it was very outdated one of the nightstand's top wood was lifting and luckily we didn't get any splinters. The restroom was also very outdated. I chose this hotel based on the pictures of the outside and didn't bother looking into the bedrooms or reviews. I do not recommend it at all, based on the room we got. Unfortunately, we had a long week and we stayed just one night there that we were so exhausted and didn't want to deal with complaints at the moment we slept with the windows wide open to let the air circulate.

NOISY MORNINGS! Unfortunately while the room was clean and provided everything listed, the noisy wake up call by the trash trucks on both Sunday and Monday mornings made our stay miserable. If it had been quick then no biggie, but the trucks arrived at 6am and did their thing for over an hour. I should’ve guessed something was amiss when I saw the earplugs on the dresser at check-in 😑🙉.
