鳳凰城飯店(Phoenix Hotel)

Uriges Hotel mit Charme der 70er Jahre, sehr angenehm warmer Pool, sehr nettes Personal, optisch schöne Zimmer. Ich fange mal mit den 3 Kritikpunkten an: - Die Ausstattung in den Zimmern ist sehr Mager: Kein Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher etc. - Schade - Im Bereich um das Hotel leben die ganzen Obdachlosen der Stadt. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, man sollte es nur Wissen, damit man sich nicht bei Ankunft wundert. - Viele Stechmücken im Zimmer. Aufgrund fehlender Klimaanlage mussten wir das Fenster bzw. die Türe aber offen halten.

Really cool place with nice rooms and excellent service from the staff. Clean rooms and tidy outdoors incl. clean pool. Possibility for fridge at room, microwave, hot water and free coffee available at frontdesk, where you can also buy from the snack bar incl. e.g. oat for breakfast and nuddel cups. Expect party and loud music at events. Check homepage. We stayed during the week and had a lovely quiet stay and enjoyed the courtyard and heated pool. Restaurant worth a visit.Note that area is home to SFs homeless crowd.

Nice motel style structure, heated pool and clean rooms. Had a nice style to the property. Breakfast available in the foyer. Parking right outside the front door (big plus in SF). On the downside the hotel had lots of people hanging around outside the property all day and we sadly didn't feel that safe to walk around with our two teenagers.

Staff was excellent and super welcoming. Premises are great considering is a vintage hotel. Hotel has it’s own vibe! Walkable to Cable car (trolley) stops and made it to Pier 39 in 40 min walking and stopping for a couple pictures and a bite.

Property itself is nice, convenient to the opera house. Really liked the restaurant bar on site and used the heated pool which was clean and relaxing. Room had plenty of surfaces and very clean. Nice New Orleans French soul food restaurant nearby. Felt unsafe around all the homelessness, trash, drug use and broken glass from street crime after walking out of the property. A car's windows were smashed open on the street next to the entrance and had to step past drugged out homeless people and a couple of storefront broken windows on a walk. *********ing in plain sight outside the property. Very sad situation for the people who clearly need treatment and help but struggling with the addiction. The city hasn't found a solution. I would go back to the hotel but the streets outside would make me think twice about it especially if I had a family with me.

We really enjoy staying at the Phoenix when we are in San Francisco. It’s got a great vibe and retro feel. The courtyard is fantastic and removes you from the exterior neighborhood making it comfortable and pleasant. The beds and pillows are very nice, we got great rest. The front desk people are very welcoming and helpful. Orlando was a great host, and checked on us when we passed through, a nice personal touch. We had dinner at the restaurant, Chambers, the food was good and a nice atmosphere. Very happy with our experience once again! Thanks Phoenix staff!!

I was in town to visit my son living two blocks away. I was nervous about parking my car on the street in this part of SF and was relieved to read they had a safe lot - I could park right in front of the lobby. The streets there are sad (SF needs to get itself together), but inside the Phoenix property, I felt very safe and cared for by their staff. I usually stay in far more expensive hotels for work travel and don't receive even half the personable and caring service I experienced here - called me by name the entire time. The room was comfy and cute, and I slept very well. Some reviews mention loud noise, sirens, etc., but once I shut the door, it was quiet, and the thick curtains blocked out the light. The calming red light over the bed was excellent. I love the mid-century vibe. The pool is very warm, but I did not swim. They had a cool sweatshirt and mug that I could not keep myself from buying. The complimentary tea in the lobby is a good brand. There is yummy food/nice restaurants within walking distance. The price was very fair, and I plan to stay here again next time I spend time with my son (he lives in a studio). We had a fun night out, and I liked having a space to return to. Note again - the streets need help, but this is no fault of the Phoenix, and they seem to do their best to create a world within it for travelers to stay securely. And it was nice to break free from the stale cookie-cutter hotels I am used to (that park your car for $70, who knows where).

The Phoenix is a hidden oasis in a city of decay. Once on the grounds everything was clean and had an awesome vibe! Robert and Gregory were awesome! Would stay again! Just be aware there is a parking fee each day you stay.

We not like anything. We have two kids 5 and 8 years old . There was a noisy party with to much people and alcohol. People was drunk . We leave the property
