卡阿納溫泉度假村(Ka'Ana Resort & Spa)

Bon hôtel mais un peu éloigné de la ville et un peu trop près de la route. Évitez les chambres de première catégorie qui ne sont pas terrible par contre les chambres de catégorie supérieure sont formidables. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré. Le service est bon en général. En conclusion je recommande cet hôtel 😃😃🙂😃

Tout a commencé par un accueil avec 15 mn seuls à la réception à attendre quelqu un .. nous venions de faire 3 h de route et nous étions fatigués. Présentation de la chambre sommaire et par contre tout à été bien expliqué pour tous les suppléments en chambre ! Les dollars sont très importants au belize semble t il ? Nous sommes allés au restaurant et malheureusement la bouteille de vin a 50 dollars quand même était absente , un hasard sans doute ? Toutes les autres a plus de 100$ .. les prix sont fous ! Mon mari a commandé une viande dure comme du béton qui est repartie en cuisine et encore 30 $ … nous avons eu un remplacement par un plat de pâte nature .. non vraiment incroyable ! Pas de salle de sport pour s occuper car notre visite sur les sites maya annulée . Disons que ce séjour est difficile. Pour le petit-déjeuner c est aussi un grand moment car le tout compris ici est seulement un plat ! Une assiette de fruit est en supplément.. non vraiment changez tout , rien ne va . Je déconseille cet hôtel

Amazing staff and grounds. An oasis. Everyone is friendly and you will feel immediately at home. We had a private plunge pool which was nice. But it rained most of the time, which coincidentally attracted the loudest frogs ever that swim and make noise at night. Not the resorts fault at all since you are in the jungle. But it would be better to not have a private pool if it’s raining and no why to tell what the weather will be before you arrive. Beyond the animal noises no complaint’s whatsoever. Food is great and made on premises, late night snacks provided. We did a Tikal tour with them and it’s worth the premium price, better guide, personal, and unforgettable experience. So glad this was our base camp for western Belize. It is about a 2 hour drive from the international airport. So expect some driving. And it is not close to San Ignacio town proper with not really any delivery places in town so you are kinda stuck eating the higher priced restaurant. But it is good, so we were pleased. Would highly recommend if going to Tikal and want to stay on the Belize side.

Highly recommended! Very friendly staff who makes the getaway experience even more amazing. If you’re thinking of taking your special person somewhere secluded, then Ka’ana Resort is the place to visit.

We stayed at the Ka’ana for the last leg of our trip. We had room 4 and our friends were in room 3. The staff was amazing. We were able to text them on Whats App whenever we needed something and they delivered. One night my girl had an ear ache and they brought me Tylenol at 4 am. The outdoor had an amazing tub and shower: I showered outside, under the rain. It was amazing. The rooms were clean and had turn down service. They would leave us daily deserts. The restaurant had amazing food and service. We did have a car so we stopped by in town to eat as well. We enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to add an outdoor couch so that one can sit outside and chat or have some coffee. I would recommend this hotel.

I wish I was taking the time to write a five star review for this resort. My partner and I were incredibly excited about staying at the resort and using it as a base for all of the activities in the area. There were some great things about the resort but ultimately we left feeling a sting of disappointment for what was billed as a five star experience. The bartenders were great and the drinks were fresh and inventive. Many of the drinks incorporated items grown right on the property. The restaurant wait staff were also friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast at the main restaurant most mornings and were happy with the fresh fruit, yogurt and Belizean breakfasts. There were some hits and misses on dishes in the main restaurant for dinner. We ended up opting for the bar menu most nights that we didn't eat in town. On the food and drink side I would recommend trying the sweetcorn coolatta from the bar and the tamale trio (some of the best tamales I've ever had). The rooms were clean and the grounds crew did a great job at keeping the resort looking neat and fresh. There are plenty of five star reviews for the resort so hopefully our experience is an exception. Where we felt things went downhill were mostly related to the front desk and overall communication from the resort. We had a smooth check in (or so we thought) but then were contacted by the front desk later that night to discuss our booking which resulted in multiple trips and frustration to talk it through. (not exactly what I wanted to be dealing with after a long day of travel) We had written confirmations for our bookings and eventually they were able to work out a solution that kept us in the same room for the duration of our stay. We had even done our due diligence before the trip and emailed to make sure our reservation and bookings were squared. We also had communication issues related to our trip to Tikal. We had booked the trip with the front desk and were told we could move it to a different day in the event of inclement weather. The night before it looked like rain so we asked to move it to the following day. We were contacted by the front desk the next morning and told we needed to go that day or else we would forfeit the cost of the trip and that it couldn't be moved to a different day. The resort also hosted a gala one night in the main bar restaurant area that no one told us about. Part of the restaurant was still open to guests but if we had known there was a large event happening that night we would have made arrangements for dinner elsewhere in town. We also had issues related to receiving the final bill at checkout. We were charged for multiple trips using the resort transfer that we didn't take (we took a private taxi and paid the driver directly) as well as spa services that we never received (we didn't even use the spa). All of the frustration with getting the bookings sorted out and the following sequence of missed connections and mishaps just sort of cast

If you read other reviews this is a KNOWN issue. I would not recommend as they cannot provide a basic essential service such a running water.

This property isn't one of the fancier jungle lodges, but its proximity to the jungle adventures, ruins and San Ignacio are truly great. It's a small, relaxed place, but there is still a feeling of it being in the jungle despite it not being. The rooms are extremely spacious, well done and clean, as is the entire property. The beds and pillows are huge and very comfortable. We arranged massages and they were great. The pool is not the greatest, mostly because it doesn't have many chairs or the nicest furniture, but it's certainly an adequate one. The main 'house' has indoor/outdoor seating with a lovely deck and adjacent indoor bar. The staff was absolutely a joy. Julio at the front desk along with the others was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. And the food, drinks and wine...totally unexpected fresh, flavorful and creative. It was a 9+.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING WITH THIS HOTEL. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU ANY MONEY IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN AMENDMENT TO YOUR BOOKING. OUR TRAVEL OPERATOR MADE CHANGES TO OUR BOOKING LEAVING US NO CHOICE TO MODIFY OUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. WE BOOKED VIA BOOĶING.COM WHO CONFIRMED WE WERE ENTITLED TO SOME (IF NOT ALL) OF OUR $500+ BACK. THE PROPERTY DID NOT REFUND US AND SHOWED ZERO GOODWILL. THEY HAD 4 WEEKS NOTICE TO FILL THIS BOOKING BUT DECIDED TO KEEP OUR MONEY.
