Easy check in and check. No issues. Easy and convenient.

This hotel is in a lovely historic building. It's really beautiful. The room/bathroom weren't huge- but it was comfortably sized and had everything you might need. The bed and bedding were also comfortable. All the staff were polite, pleasant, and very accommodating. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again!

The property is very appealing to the eye. Although it has a classic look, the ambiance is really nice. The Il Fornaio and Original Joe's adds to its finesse. The person at the reception desk was really nice and attentive. I was not too happy about the closet doors and bathroom doors though. Other than that, I had a good experience staying here. I would recommend it and give it 7.5 Stars out of 10.

I love the old iconic Saint Clair hotel, now the Westin. Two gentlemen came in that evening to check in and we’re trying to understand what kind of hotel this was. They were thinking it was an old, rundown hotel, but I explained that it has been upgraded and it was a historical building with history of San Jose. With Christmas in the park across the street dining at the hotel and just down the street original Joe’s and iconic Italian restaurant. This is now my place to go and stay when I am in town.

This property is old, the beds are so small for two adults. My husband I were so uncomfortable our entire stay. The rooms are tiny. If you plan to travel with two adults and two kids I would suggest getting two rooms.

Cleanliness seemed good and the housekeeping staff pleasant and attentive. Rooms bizarrely small. Beds ridiculously small. Pillows SUPER stiff and uncomfortable. More appropriately sized furnishings in the room (smaller bureau and desk, larger bed(s)) would make SO much more sense.
