聖何塞機場歡朋套房飯店(Hampton Inn & Suites San Jose Airport)

Booked since my flight get cancelled, surprisingly good!

I had booked my room at the end of June for a 1 bed king size 3 nights 4 days. When I got there at check in, they said they were overbooked and I’d have to downgrade to a double queen room. Didn’t really mind at first. My dad showed up the next day and got a king bed, he said the lady at the front almost told him there were not rooms available until the manager came and corrected her. I went to the front desk and asked to be put in a king room since they said they had plenty. They said today is possible, it just wasn’t possible yesterday. The manager said “I’m gonna upgrade you for the rest of your stay” and I ended up just getting the room I initially paid for. When we moved rooms. The tv wasn’t working. We called the front desk and asked for maintenance. They never came within an hour so we went out and put the do not disturb sign up. They still came into our room with the sign up saying do not disturb. When we came back. The tv STILL didn’t work and they left cables on our table. We called again. They said it should be up again. It never came back up. We spent the last 2 days there with no tv entertainment. Not the best EXPERIENCE but I’m grateful I had a place to rest my head while I was in San Jose.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and welcoming. I stayed before an early 6 am flight the next morning. I returned my rental car after check in and the shuttle returned me to the hotel. However, the shuttle didn’t start until 5 am so I had to use Lyft for early transport the next am. I recommend this hotel.

The stay was positive from the moment we arrived a couple hours early and was able to access our room. The concierge (I wish we remembered her name but it was Tuesday September 5th at approximately 1:30pm) was very helpful in recommendations for lunch. Our room was perfect. Breakfast was ok and there was always hot coffee.

The hotel itself was good but our flight got in at 930 and the desk told us to go to the wrong place but luckily the shuttle didnt leave without us. The shuttle driver kept telling us how he was just going to leave because he was off the clock and he had to work the next day at 500am. He told us we were lucky that he didnt leave us.

The hotel was clean and nice. The room was on the smaller side but it was nice. The problem with this hotel is that there is NO grass for pets. They have rock and water tolerant landscape. With the heat, that was hard on our pups paws. We found that across the street is the PayPal campus and they have nice green lawns and big areas with minimal traffic.
