聖何塞硅谷智選假日套房飯店(Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Jose – Silicon Valley)

Holiday Inn 因為分佈在幾個國家，所以無論是設施還是房間條件都住得很好。我在出差時使用它，但與家人或朋友一起使用也很好。如果我再來的話，我會再拜訪一次。

This is a new property opened in 2022. Room is still well kept. Furnitures and fixtures pristine. Housekeeping must be doing a phenomenal job as my room was very clean. Some road noise even later at night. Surprisingly a good product, this Holiday Inn Express. The room literally has everything you would need in a hotel room. Enough vanity, desk, drawer and luggage space. Choice of soft or firm pillows; plush towels, coat hooks, full length mirror, lots of USB ports and outlets and lighting for everything (ceiling, desk lamp, floor lamp, cabinet light, entry, etc.) Fridge, microwave, even has Keurig coffee machine. Room is large, bathroom is spacious. Has sofa bed, chair and coffee table.

Check in and check out was easy and fast. A few stray hairs and stains in the room along with a flashing green light from a device attached to the top of the door frame. Can hear people in the corridor and above but luckily noise ceased in the evening. Woken up by auto bathroom light as I didn’t close the bathroom door before going to bed. Water was nice and heated up quickly. Provided fridge and microwave and iron and board. Hair dryer as well. Overall better than other 2 star hotels and was adequate for one night’s stay.

Before leaving our room we tidy up and out the blue sign for no room service. We left $8 in ones in the dresser to return to our room and it was taken. We got a printed notice that there was going to be a fire alarm test throughout the building. No where in the notice did it say that the testers would have to enter our room. I called downstairs and Jeel said that there was an emergency and they had to enter our room and that the housekeepers would not take it despite me noticing that our room was cleaned and our beds made by them. He said the fire inspectors could have taken it and would speak to the manager to look at the video tape. I got NO resolution even upon check out. It’s not the amount of money take. $8 is not much but it’s the principle of it. I was in edge the entire stay after that. Jeel was not very helpful at all and I regret staying somewhere I can’t trust the staff or even the communication. The rooms and amenities are great! I usually leave the housekeepers a tip when checking out with a note to thank them for cleaning my room but I left nothing. I do feel bad though.

The hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately, only one of our two rooms were available when we checked in. Apparently there were a lot of guests who requested to extend their checkout. It was nice for them. But inconvenient for us. We had to wait an hour for the second room to be ready! We had an engagement we had to get ready for and were therefore rushed. It was not a good way to start our stay.
