Worst experience ever

Excellent place right in the middle of old San Juan. All the attractions are walking distance. Restaurants and bars nearby. Traffic is bad in the area and parking is hard to find. We loved our stay here, we just rode Uber to and from the airport and everything else is walkable. If you have a car, park in the garage and leave there unless you have to go to other towns. Our hostess at the guest house was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast everyday was excellent and included. Gives us energy to start our day of touring. Will definitely stay there again. And I can’t help to mention how clean and fresh smelling the whole property is… it’s home sweet home.

We were greeted warmly by the fellow who I think is the manager. He took my number so that he could text me when our room was ready. Everything was very clean and the lovely very old rooms were nice enough. The bed was not great but not terrible either. My biggest complaint was that in the morning, when I wanted to take a shower, the hot water took forever and only went to lukewarm at best. The breakfast, while very good, was limited to a few items and they were very strict with charging extra for any “add ons “ like cheese in the eggs or even a second cup of coffee. I felt a bit nickle and dimed with all the attempts to charge extra. Especially when the room cost was a stratospheric $330 a night for a small, queen sized bed room. I would have thought they could give us coffee refills for that price.

We were checking in, and they tried to raise the price on us to have a ground floor room (not bigger or different just the ground floor). I didn't like that and the manager flew off the handle, flipped out and forced us to leave and it was already evening in the city. Luckily we booked on the next block in a nicer hotel, with an elevator and friendly receptionist and saved 200 to boot. We do NOT recommend 352 Guest House I travel a lot and have never had a problem with hotel or any personnel before this guy. Also the property has no elevator and is not cheap (many other locations very close and more reasonable!

Worst hotel, I’ve ever stayed at. Which says a lot I’ve been to 36 countries.

We enjoyed hotel until checkout when staff went wierd after asking to see bill then manager had issues providing bill as had already processed and didn’t like us asking, then after asking literally pushed us onto the street.

I would give 352 Guest House ten stars if I could! Freddy, Maria & Teresa took absolutely excellent care of us. Our room was clean and quiet (interior room), and our bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and the charming rooftop deck at night. The other guests were quiet and respectful. Very centrally located right in the heart of OSJ. Book now, you will be SO glad you did!
