Hotel bueno, staff muy atento y amable, pero las almohadas de la habitación son terribles!! Muy gruesas e incomodas!! No se puede descansar bien con ellas. Es una lástima que un pequeño detalle, influya tanto en el bienestar de la estadía. Creo que esta es la única razón por la que no me volvería alojar allí.

We can’t say enough great things about this hotel. We were just passing through and spent the night before moving on. The hotel is brand new and the entire staff was very very friendly and attentive. The room was great, bed was comfortable and shower was awesome. We used the gym and it was very nice and spacious with everything we needed for a good workout. The hotel is close to many things which you can walk to. It was a great experience

Hot water doesn't work early in the morning, GYM bad equipped, the room need a desk not table, expensive food with wood forks and knives... A new hotel must be open when everything its working and well equipped. Bad experience

We had a wonderful stay at this Aloft Hotel. The Hotel is brand new with beautiful common areas (Bar, Terrace, rooftop pool and lobby area. Lights and colors of the rooms and lobby are cozy. Views of city from the suites, terrace and rooftop pool are amazing. The best part of the hotel are their management, front desk personnel and staff in general. All were very friendly, professional and kind during our stay exceeding any customer expectations. The hotel had a very special detail and attention for my wife’s birthday when we came back to the room. We really enjoy our stay and definitely recommend to stay at this hotel when visit Santo Domingo.

Brand new hotel. I understand they opened the day prior to my stay. The room is very comfortable. Perfect bedding. Perfect air conditioning. Very clean. Very large corridors. No noise. However, the first day, there was no hot water, no pressure in the shower. That was fixed the same day in the afternoon. There is no handle in the shower door. They provide drinkable water but there is is no glass. No "do not disturb" sign. No coffee maker. No complimentary tea or coffee. No dental kit. They do not serve breakfast at this hotel. All these amenities and services, you expect to have in a hotel of that price and standing. The staff is extremely nice, from the front door personnel to the manager. They try to go out of their way to please you. They offered a simple "snacked breakfast" the second day to make up for the lack of hot water, but it took more than 30 minutes to get ready. I guess the infrastructure is not ready yet to open this hotel. They need about a week to get ready. That is why I am giving them an average grade. But they have a huge potential. And I would gladly return if the current issues are fixed. Waiting to see other people's comments in the next 2 months.
