麗都海灘度假飯店(Lido Beach Resort - Sarasota)

Impressive. I was reading all posts on this property and I was a little skeptical, but all I saw and experienced was great. Very quiet and convenient for privacy with their staff keeping the place neat. Too bad that we had to cut our vacation short due to the hurricane Idalia, but they gave us the option to leave before the storm and got refunded for the unused time. Definitely a place to come back.

Hotel is on Lido beach, and close to St. Armands Circle, which is the biggest positive of the hotel. Note I stayed in the old building, which may affect my review. Room was updated, but also lacking. Bathroom door didn’t close, baseboards and walls seemed weathered, A/C was very loud, and the mattress on one of the beds had a big dip in it. Room was clean, and did include a nespresso machine, and popcorn, which was nice. I reported issues to the manager, and they tried to address it immediately, and provided us with an apology note and snack box, which was very nice. Mattress was replaced, but the A/C was still loud. The staff was mostly friendly, except when i asked for late check out and the front desk person said "absolutely not". Overall average-good hotel and a solid 3.5 star.

The hotel was very nice. The pool was great. The pool attendants were great! The hotel was clean! The hotel had a huge size fridge and microwave and also provided water, popcorn and Nespresso coffee in the room. There was places to read, swing and even play table games. So don’t forget to bring your cards and games. Also bring to make s’mores, there’s a pit that can be used. All together great for adults and families. There is a private adult pool and jacuzzi.

I think it was way overpriced. I found 2 roaches. 1 dead in th ebathroom and another one alive in the kitchen area. Lots of places in the room very rusty, especially in the bathroom very nasty. In the kitchen area rotten wood between the refrigerator. Nasty. Way overpriced for the condition of the rooms.

The property had a shuttle bus that took us from the hotel to St. Armand’s circle where we could shop and dine. The best part is that we didn’t have to rent a car, we just Ubered. However the upside was not worth the low. It was unfortunate that my room was facing the parking lot after having paid over $2,000 for 4 nights. The room felt like a motel instead of what I paid for. For this amount, l should’ve received a ocean view I spoke with the front desk and they danced around it by saying it depends on rates. To add, the resort charges resort fees yet they still charge for umbrellas ($15). Rooms were cleaned well,but there was a musty scent if the air conditioner wasn’t on. That’s pretty much expected when you’re in a hotel on a beach. All in all, it was a good vacation but I have mixed feelings about the hotel.

They don't clean the beach until today, but the others hotel even the public beach was clean 2 days ago. And of course because of that thel pools was full and almost you have to be stand cause you don't find any pool chair.

Gorgeous views and excellent service. Took my daughter for a weekend visit. The breakfast at drift there was also amazing. Quote on quote from my daughter “best breakfast bagel and cream cheese I’ve had in my life”

El hotel en general es muy bonito y todo el personal muy tratable muy buena atención sin duda lo recomiendo 100 por ciento espero volver pronto.

Solo estuvimos tres días me quería quedar por mas tiempo las habitaciones súper cómodas, limpias, la atención de la recepción buena.la comida en general todo muy bueno.
