達斯西馬貝格飯店(Hotel Das Himberg)

Very impressed with this hotel. Everything clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Pet friendly. Ample self parking even for our campervan. Short walk to chinese buffet restaurant. Breakfast excellent.

This property is listed as a 4 star hotel close to the airport. But it is not. The location is 22km from the airport next to a golf course with only taxi transportation available. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is outstanding, with many fresh ingredients. But there are certain amenities we have come to expect from a 4 star hotel, including a fridge or mini bar, a coffee maker and 2 glasses in the bathroom (our room only had 1 glass and 2 plastic cups).

Testé en famille la nuit dernière... bon, c'est un hôtel qui a 4*... mais 4 étoiles low cost (c'est plutôt un 3*). Concernant les chambres, elles sont ok en taille, la literie est dans la norme par contre l'équipement est à revoir: clim' bloquée à 22, aucune bouilloire pour faire un thé ou un café... bref. Concernant la localisation, c'est au petit bonheur la chance: vous pouvez donner du côté de la route et c'est bruyant et assez glauque... ou du côté jardin ou là c'est silencieux et plutôt agréable (c'est la roulette russe). Le seul bon point de l'hotel, c'est le petit déjeuner: il est au dessus de la moyenne et vraiment pas mal avec plein de produits frais! Après, ça à l'air d'être le meilleur hôtel du coin (surtout si vous souhaitez aller à l'aéroport le lendemain).

Ich verbringe auf meinen Dienstreisen die Nacht vor dem Heimflug immer im Himberg. Die Zimmer sind schick eingerichtet und sauber. Das große Highlight ist das Frühstücjsbuffet. Vom frisch gepressten Orangensaft, frischem Obst und Käse S*****en Croissant ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Auf Wunsch werden auch Waffeln und Pancakes frisch serviert. Ich kann eine Übernachtung in diesem Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Spent already several times here. The rooms are fancy, new and very clean. Trendy bathroom and fine products. Very delicious breakfast and huge Sortiment. Only the cleaning team could be a bit more soft during vacuum cleaning ;O) But all in all - you can't do much wrong here. I felt at home here.

Nice clean, comfortable hotel in a quaint town. I was there one night and left at 06:30 for an early morning flight. Breakfast starts at 07:00 so not ideal for early travelers to airport. Bed was comfortable. Would have been very lovely if there were a kettle in the room to make a late night or early morning tea. Taxi from the airport is about €40, consider €75-90 euros round trip. In a second time if I were only in for one night again I’d probably opt for a higher price hotel that is closer to the airport / without such a taxi trek. Otherwise this is a reasonable place.
