We really enjoyed our stay at this this lovely New England gem. If you're seeking a break from the modern world and crave the allure of centuries past, look no further. While it may not boast the latest gadgets, this inn offers something far more valuable: a genuine connection to the past and sincere hospitality.

Another great stat at the Red Lion Inn. Was in town visiting family and the experience was exceptional. Stayed for 2 nights and I always felt comfortable and taken care of. The hotel itself has authentic historic charm, with unique character to each room. Had dinner at the inn’s restaurant and the food was top notch. Would definitely come again!

Had an amazing stay for a week. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the room was beautiful. great historic Massachusetts vibes. Highly recommend staying at the Red Lion Inn if you get a chance.

Lovely old inn with charming tavern, very attentive service and staff were easy to converse with, which is something I rarely find in chain hotels. I asked the waiter on Wednesday night if a fire could be lit for us during dinner, to which he declined. However, he later came back and explained.

While I think the Chef at the Red Lion Inn is very talented I have to post a business "BEWARE" and run review with them as long as Tony Dochev and Paul Slyvia are there running the show. My daughter who has a local photography business was approached to help them with a Mixology event that was happening in a couple days and they needed some help. While there was several attempts to put a contract in place or lock in a rate both Tony and Paul stated it was not an issue but to charge them her rate. She would never have moved forward normally without a contract but with her sibling working there for a couple years and the short notice she did come to the event to assist the very next day. She spent 4 1/2 hours with them and the Mixologist from New York to take photos of the event and new Fall drinks for them, and hours of editing. The photos were amazing! Because she had family who worked there she gave a very discounted bill for $700.00. If anyone knows about marketing and photography that is a steal. Both Tony and Paul refused to pay her, even when suggested a payment plan option stating "they could not afford that". This is just an unacceptable way to do business and does not help pay the bills doing a very difficult time during the pandemic. If this is how they do business what other corners are they cutting?

I enjoyed the Quiet and peaceful town. Quaint inn. The bed was Comfortable. Although the hotel restaurant was closed there were several other places for breakfast and dinner nearby. Only a 30 minute drive into Boston.

My wife and I visited the Red Lion. for dinner. We had reservations at 6pm And our hostess sat us down right immediately . We sat in the captains room. Nobody was seated in there. We had the room to ourselves! The fireplace was not lit. We asked Sandra if we could have it lit. And the mgr. Paul lit it with within minutes. , the service from Sandra our server Was simply amazing.. . We had the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and the Calamari For appetizers. And for dinner we had the Rohan Duck Lasagnette, and the Herb Tagliatelle for dinner. The home made bread was simply to die for!! "If your a fan of homemade bread. This is a must have. After dinner we had 2 Cappuccinos. Served in illy Logo Cappuccino Cups. That transported us right back to Roma. And for the desserts... well the only thing i can say is the Dark Chocolate Cremeux, Is to die for And This is easily one of, if not the best meal we've ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment! And one of My favorite part of the night, Was the very historic feel of the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Cohasset . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while. Highly recommend!

We visited the Red Lion Inn for our one year anniversary of getting married here. The staff was just as welcoming as last year and accommodating to all of our needs. Between the tavern, the cave’s live entertainment, and town center, it makes for a great weekend getaway.
