For a big suite there were very few comfort amenities. The bathroom was huge but had no area by the shower to hang clothes or a table to store shower products. Small sink area for storage. The overall feel of the room was very much in need of an update. Fridge was very noisy and the tv had very poor reception. The view was stunning though. Also disappointed no restaurant or lounge open.

This property is in a good location and the rooms are really spacious which was nice as we were a group of 3. However we booked for 3 people and the sofa bed was not made up, we had to make it ourselves which we didn’t expect. The breakfast was really disappointing. Some improvements are needed at this place for sure.

This is a convenient place to stay for a person who is in and out. The We were on vacation and never up in time to take advantage of the free breakfast which is over at 9am. This is a bummer because i booked here for that reason however it was never stated that it was a buffet with an end time. We also booked here for the indoor pool which was murky and we were afraid to go in it. The pictures on the website did not match. Also the cafe/bar is limited hours (also not mentioned) and the first 2 days we were there it was closed. Also a bummer bc we have kids who need access to food at all hours lol. The staff is excellent. You can order delivery take out food which is convenient and you can walk to places. There is parking which is also a bonus. I feel had i been able to read all the details about room service hours and and breakfast hours i would have not booked. These were number ones for us. If that doesn't matter to you than you will love staying here.

I booked this stay based on reviews and cost - and found that we got a great value! This hotel was beautiful, and accommodated our needs with genuine smiles. My friend and I arrived by train much earlier than check-in, but the front desk stored our luggage with no fee while we went sight-seeing. The same happened at check out - in fact, we had to stick around in the hotel lobby for a few extra hours, and the front desk person (Elizabeth) was incredibly gracious toward us! She even made sure we knew how we would get to the airport, and recommended their black car service driver - we did use him, because he was cheaper than Uber and had been driving for this Residence Inn for 20+ years. The room was BEAUTIFUL and when they say there is a kitchenette or it's a suite, they mean it's a KITCHEN. Full size refrigerator, fully stocked with dishes etc. I wish we were staying longer in order to utilize that! My only complaint would be the speed of getting food from their little bar. However, the host was up front with us about the timing and why it would take a while. Perhaps the hotel should add more staff for the kitchen OR refuse to take super large orders, which is what caused the long waits. Otherwise, we were very pleased with everything. The breakfast buffet was great, with plenty of different offerings to please both of our picky stomachs. Thank you, Residence Inn Lake Union!

Unfortunately, our stay at this once wonderful property was very disappointing. The pool area was terrible with chewed up food in the drinking fountain that was never cleaned for the tree days we were there. The clock on the wall was not working and hand sized pieces of peeling paint were floating or sinking in the hot tub and pool. Long term water damage to the ceiling was long over due for repair. The door frame on our room had been broken and the repair was far from professional. The towel rack in the bathroom kept falling apart in pieces. When we went to breakfast both mornings it was horribly understaffed and it appeared they were totally unprepared for the number of guests staying at the property. I’ve stayed here many times over the last 25 years and based upon this very poor experience (it was our anniversary) we will not be returning!
