朗多尼別墅(Randoni Villa)

A lovely family run guesthouse. Good location for an overnight stay before our flight home. The rooms are very basic and the mosquito net is certainly needed due to its location right on the river. However the friendliness of all the family who run the business is certainly the main draw here.

A beautiful oasis run by a really lovely family. I spent a lot of money on an upmarket but soulless Airbnb apar**ent when I arrived in SriLanka then found out about Randoni Villa where I stayed before leaving. It won ‘hands down’!! The family who run it are very kind and generous and went well out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable, from mosquito coils and organising transport to serving me courtesy pots of tea and allowing my son and I to hang out by the pool until it was time to go to the airport. The surroundings are lush. You wouldn’t believe that you were in Colombo. Oh, and the food is as everyone says…..delicious. When I return to Colombo I won’t consider anywhere else.

We stayed here for one night whilst touring , we were welcomed straight away by the owner. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with mosquito nets for the beds , the food here was beautiful and if there was anything we needed , the staff would go out of their way to get it, nothing was too much trouble , this was a family run villa and very friendly and accommodating.

These were the friendliest and most accomodating hosts. Everyone is helpful and responsive. The property is magical and love their cats.

We chose to stay at this property due to its proximity to the airport, and what a lovely family run business it is. All aspects of this stay were perfect for us, with all the amenities we required, our hosts were attentive and super friendly and could not do enough for us. The dinner they prepared for us was one of the best curries we had during our stay in Sri Lanka and we would highly recommend this property for any one either looking for the convenience of the airport or just a tranquil haven to relax and unwind. On our last full day in Sri Lanka we looked for a place close to the airport and this was the perfect location to unwind and relax before the flight! The service was friendly, helpful, personal with very good attention to detail. We loved the beautiful, tranquil location by the river- teeming with birds and other wild life. The pool was a great source of joy for the kids especially. We loved all the details in the villa including the hammock and the 4 Persian cats. All in all the whole family agreed this was a great end to our stay!

We stayed here for one night at the start of our Sri Lanka tour. The hosts were friendly and cooked us delicious dinner and breakfast (still among the best food we have had two weeks into the trip!). Nice to have a dip in the pool and a cool place by the river!

This is a great little place not too far from the airport. The staff was incredibly friendly and always smiling, and nothing was too much to ask. We arrived relatively late in the day (around 9pm) and got served the most amazing dinner (ask for the seene sambal, it's scrumptious). Room was very comfortable, bathroom had a good powerful and hot shower, nice little pool to relax by with a cold beer. Excellent value for money. The one potential downside is the location, as it's a bit away from the main road, so you're going to have to bring food or eat there (but the food is really good, so it's not an issue really)
