The hotel is poor value for money. It bills itself as a 'luxury' hotel, and charges accordingly, but it is not. The building is impressive and the rooms are nice, but all the extras, that actually would make it 'luxury', are lacking: no mini bar, no espresso machine in the room, poor service at the reception, room service shut down at 11 pm, the hotel bar at 10 pm and breakfast is mediocre.

After several visits in different year, I must say that the quality of service provided is consistently catered. Customer service people are often overlooked but I must say, the staff in here are warm and friendly, knows their forte and always ready to provide their best service as always. This is the kind of industry that you can't just put facade and just do things just for the sake of getting things done. Thank you to all the accommodating staff with genuine quality service. My husband became unwell on a flight from the Maldives to Johannesburg and we were forced to break our journey in the Seychelles to get medical attention. The hotel was booked for us by Air Seychelles staff because it was near the hospital. The setting is picturesque but although it is on the marina waterfront there is no beach nearby. I would not stay here as a tourist on holiday. The hotel feels like a business hotel not a holiday destination. We could not get a flight for 3 days and we passed the time at the pool and in the nearby Eden Plaza. Eden Island seems to be very, very popular with Russians . The room was clean, everything worked. The food in the dining room, including breakfast is average. The service was OK. From a previous trip to the Seychelles many years ago my observation then and now is that the island is expensive and not really good value for money compared with Mauritius or the Maldives. But we must give a shout out to Michael at reception who really assisted and helped with the printing out of forms and scanning documents to our insurers. He was friendly, kind and came to our rescue.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel direkt an dem Yachthafen. Sehr gut geeignet für Reisende, welche auf einen Segeltörn gehen oder von einem kommen. Das Hotel ist sauber, die Angestellten freundlich und das Frühstück sehr gut. Einziger Minuspunkt: Manchmal gibt es am Abend laute Musik nebenan. Wir hatten dies gleich 2 Nächte hintereinander. Party im Restaurant und man schläft erst, wenn die Musik stoppt.

Frühstück und Lage (mitten auf Eden Island) sind gut. Hotel bietet aber keinerlei Duschmöglichkeit nach dem Check out. Wir hatten unseren Flug erst kurz vor Mitternacht. Late Checkout war nicht möglich da vollständig ausgebucht. Am Abend hörte man die sehr laute Musik im Hotelzimmer von der Abendunterhaltung bis fast um Mitternacht.

Excellent stay. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room well equipped and comfortable. Hotel arranged taxi to airport in the afternoon and stored bags after checkout until that departure.
