謝菲爾德草地商場普瑞米爾飯店(Sheffield Meadowhall)

We often stay at Premier Inn when going to events. This was a concert at the Utilita stadium. The hotel is a mile from the stadium so not a bad walk, although there is a team stop about 1/2 mile away. The staff were brilliant, chatty and friendly but it’s a shame this particular hotel is getting tired with a few cosmetic problems which could be easily fixed. Enamel missing off the bath, a bath towel with a hole, a broken curtain rail and paint peeling off the wall. The food is great, although can we be allowed to set the temperature of the toasters please! There ended up being a melee at that spot while people waited 5 mins for toast! Health and safety perhaps but we are grown ups!

I always enjoy it here .Food is fantastic good value for money.Trevor especially has been a fantastic host..Rooms are fantastic as well.Its been great staying here and will always come back .The staff or brilliant and always chatting with guests

Staff so friendly and helpful, Trevor on reception was exceptional he moved our rooms so we could be together even when he had to come make additional beds up. Room was clean except out toilet leaked alittle but was fixed next day. Had dinner in the evening and Chantelle in the restaurant was welcoming. They gave us a bottle of processco to celebrate our son winning his swimming competition. So thank you Chantelle and Trevor for making the end of a weekend better. Breakfast the next morning was okay the lady and older gent didn’t look to impressed to be there though. Food was hot and the chef made some great poached eggs. We will be back when we are in the area for the next competition

Had a good overnight stay here with a return visit on 17th April. Room clean, plenty of space - comfy bed. Well priced. Ideal for a quick, easy overnight stay. Great location and free parking. Easy access to the Meadowhall shopping centre with plenty of places to eat.

Firstly the staff are lovely apart from one who was a bit snappy when we arrived, it's a shame that the staff have to do multiple roles eg restaurants and check in, seems hard on them and should have more staff. We stayed room 228, stifling hot room with a fan and even the window open it was too warm! It was quiet apart from the occasional train or tram going past, what let it down was the pillows even with two of them they was lumpy and uncomfortable, we both had broken sleep and had such a headache when we left in the morning due to them being far too soft and lumpy. We are coming again but this time I'll bring my own pillows and another fan! They should upgrade all their older hotels with air con if they want to keep up with the likes of IHG Hotels, breakfast was nice but no eggs out due to it being quiet, got it fresh to order but they was a little slimy. Like I said most staff brilliant to deal with, clean and smelt fresh in coorridor and rooms.

Needs a good and paint clean outside as old hotel now, checked in 220pm told would be £10 to check in and I’ve stayed in 100s of premier inn hotels over the years and could of easily accommodated me in 40 mins before check in but suppose they want extra money these days

From past experience I knew my wife and I would have a comfortable night and there was plenty of car parking space. The hotel is close to relatives, who we went to see in the evening and the journey to Hutcliffe Wood crematorium the following morning for a funeral service we were attending was straightforward even though it was on the other side of the city. The only disappointment was that the gluten-free cereal we had last time for breakfast was no longer available.

A great experience thank you. The room was comfortable and spacious. Paul at check in was friendly and helpful. Trevor in the restaurant looked after us for our evening meal and was outstanding in his helpfulness, with great recommendations. And Angela at breakfast was wonderful too. A top team offering excellent service.

Christine and Angela are always very welcoming in the restaurant and ensure you have a table booked for the evening too. Beds are extremely comfy, and staff are always on hand to help you. It’s always a pleasure staying - I’ve stayed in this hotel regularly since 2005.
