Dies ist eine Oase der Gastfreundschaft!!! Die Zimmer sind wunderbar geräumig mit AC und allen Annehmlichkeiten. Die Lage zum Zentrum ist perfekt und zum Ankor Park ebenso. Garry und Wendy, das australischen Paar, sind wunderbare Gastgeber mit einer sehr sympathischen Staff. Sie machen alles möglich und vermitteln auch günstige und gute Scooter. Also würde ich auch gerne 6 von 5 Punkten vergeben. Beste Wahl in Siem Reap!!!

Our experience at the Bygone was outstanding! The property is gorgeous with an inviting pool, and our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners and staff were amazing and arranged everything for us to do exactly what we wanted during our stay. their tuktuk driver Sopiah was delightful and took us to all the temples at the best times of day to avoid crowds and heat. They also arranged our boat trip to the floating village which we also recommend. The food and beverages at the restaurant were really delicious and they readily accommodated my food restrictions, I think the most expensive items on the menu were only $4! From the moment we arrived with an airport pickup to our departure 3 days later all our needs were met with incredible care and consideration. We really cherish our experience at the Bygone.

Loved the Bygone Beautiful peaceful hotel out of the busy area. We had a beautiful room next to the pool. Amazing staff who can't do enough for you. The food and coffee is delicious Great little giftshop too..with lovely items made by the locals Well done everyone..you guys are awesome 👌

We are frequent travellers to Siem Reap, and The Bygone is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and very well maintained and appointed. Our room had a king size double bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and included a bathtub. The hotel is located away from the hussle and bustle, yet every part of Siem Reap is easily accessible via a two dollar tuk-tuk ride, or you can stroll along the nearby river. The breakfasts are excellent with a wide selection of options included in the cost. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, and we ended up eating there almost every night - something we don't usually do. The talented cooks are happy to customise meals also, and skillfully catered for my wife's dietary requirements. The owners are amazingly helpful and friendly, and the staff are talented and wonderful, and they made our stay there a very joyful experience.

This delightful little boutique hotel is cleverly located on a quiet lane just 20 minutes walk from the central tourist area. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, with tasteful embellishments reflecting the history of the area. The Bygone Cafe serves tasty, freshly prepared meals drawing on Khmer and western favourites. Our hosts eagerly catered to my gluten free needs and the staff all willingly prepared meals that were delicious and thoughtful. The hotel has a generously sized pool, perfect for cooling down on a hot Cambodian afternoon. Our hosts organised drivers and tour guides to ensure the best experience for guests. We have visited Siem Reap about 15 times in the las 12 years and the Bygone is by far the loveliest and friendliest place we have ever stayed.

For a first overseas traveller who took her 9 yr old daughter, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! We both felt so comfortable and cared for, the staff are amazing, so friendly! Nothing is too much for Gary and Wendy or the staff! Everyone went above and beyond to make my daughter feel important, safe, and truly special! Great location, quiet but not far from main action with Tuk Tuk on call. Food is top quality so fresh and delicious, and having a little one, they would even cater for her needs! I loved every minute being there. My daughter didn't want to leave, especially the gorgeous staff! Thanks to you all!! We will be back one day! Keep up the fantastic work everyone..

A true must stay! Gary, Wendy and all the staff at the Bygone were the most accommodating hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious with the best part being proper espresso coffee. The food available at the hotel was always beautiful. The room was very comfortable and had everything you need for your stay. It’s within walking distance to local attractions and very easy to catch the hotels tuk tuk which is great.

A quiet little oasis within walking distance to the town centre. The pool was perfect after a long day exploring the nearby temples! The staff were incredibly friendly and had really good suggestions for local sights and activities. And the food was a real highlight 😍 I’m coeliac (gluten free) and it can be difficult to find safe food while travelling. The staff at the Bygone were very accommodating and more than happy to modify any meal to suit my needs. The hosts, Wendy and Garry, are also very knowledgeable on the food scene in town and were able to suggest other great cafes and restaurants that could cater for food allergies.

I just experienced a two week stay here while travelling solo in Siem Reap. It really felt like being a member of the family rather than a guest by the time I left! My room was cool, comfortable and spotless, the pool a very welcome place to cool off each day, and the restaurant served delicious, extremely reasonably priced meals. Wendy, Gary and their staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, organise tours for you and generally ensure your stay in Siem Reap is everything you could wish for. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, and cannot wait to return next year.
