老鷹區住宅飯店(Residenza d'Epoca le Aquile)

Ada con professionalità vi assisterà ancor prima di arrivare in struttura e vi accoglierà con quel calore d'altri tempi creando subito una bella empatia e poi Massimo, il ponte tra il turista per caso e il viaggiatore attento: seguite i suoi consigli e buona splendida Siena a tutti!

A truly memorable experience staying in a 7th century building. Very comfortable and clean. Massimo and his team took wonderful care of us from start to finish. Right in the centre of old Siena and close to everything including shopping and amazing restaurants

Ho prenotato telefonicamente con il Sig. Massimo e già al telefono avevo intuito che doveva essere una splendida persona, un gentil uomo di vecchio stampo come oramai ce ne sono pochi! Non mi sbagliavo! Ci ha accolto con eleganza e discrezione, facendoci sentire il calore di Siena fin da subito. Assieme al figlio Andrea ci ha suggerito diversi posti dove mangiare e cosa vedere, organizzando per noi uno splendido soggiorno! La struttura rispecchia perfettamente il loro essere, ti accoglie in un lusso discreto, mai pesante, dove ti senti protagonista di una splendida storia! Ottima insonorizzazione della stanza, che pur essendo nella via più centrale e viva di Siena permette di riposare perfettamente! Il bagno, come tutti gli ambienti, è pulito con una doccia spaziosa dalle splendide pareti in marmo. La nostra stanza poi, era affrescata con dipinti dell’epoca sapientemente restaurati. “de ligging in Siena, bijna direct aan piazza del campo, dus in het centrum. Schitterende zeer ruime en luxueuze kamer met dito badkamer in historisch oud Italiaans pand. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar met tips voor restaurants en bezienswaardigheden die je niet mag missen. Ontbijt op terrasje om de hoek met pittoresk zicht op de Duomo di Siena. Helaas waren wij er maar 2 nachten maar terug komen doen we zeker!!”

Very charming and close to landmarks. Massimo had a wonderful aura about him and was so nice and helpful. Our king bed was very comfortable. We loved staying here and Siena! We hope to come back one day.

Where to begin? We spent four nights at Le Aquile in Siena, and had a memorable stay there! This lovely little hotel is on a beautiful, quiet side street that's a one-minute walk from Il Campo. The building is historic (as all of them are in Siena!), with shutters that charmingly open out from the hotel's windows. Everything about the building appears to be authentic to its vintage. Our bedroom was as pictured -- large and airy, with frescoes on the ceiling and a contemporary bathroom that includes a fancy sink and walk-in shower. The bedroom was super-quiet, and the king-size bed featured a mattress that was incredibly comfortable. Among the best aspects of our stay there was the warm and hearty welcome extended to us by the owner, Massimo. He is one of the nicest, kindest, friendliest people we've ever met -- truly a fantastic host! He told us all about Siena -- where to go, where to eat, what to see, how to get places, etc. Incredibly helpful. We felt as if we were guests in his home. To add to the overall experience, the hotel's concierge and manager is also helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Ada gave us insights about Siena and answered our many questions, with great patience! She even walked us to the taxi stand as we were leaving Siena. Thank you, Massimo and Ada, for an unforgettable stay in Siena! We hope to see you there again one day!

Ada and Massimo made our stay in Siena such a wonderful experience. The room was amazing, bringing the history of the building together with modern amenities perfectly. The location couldn't have been better. Ada greeted us upon arrival and gave some great recommendations for restaurants and things to see. Massimo was able to help us get a taxi early in the morning. In all, this is a beautiful B & B run by people that truly love their comune and love sharing it with visitors.
