錫切斯中央 1883 飯店(Hotel Medium Sitges 1883)

Lamentablemente, a priori tenía buena pinta, no hemos durado ni 3 horas en la habitación 108 por el olor a humedad tan fuerte que impregnaba toda la habitación y hasta tal punto, que no sabíamos si era aguarrás o si habían fumigado.No exagero. El caso es que durante esas 3 horas era tan fuerte el olor que no hacíamos más que toser y en un intento de ventilar la estancia, al abrir la única y minúscula ventana que había, nos hemos topado con un cableado de fibra eléctrica a lo que se supone que era el patio de luces. Ni al desayuno nos hemos quedado de la tos que nos ha cogido.

Dans ma longue vie de voyageur, j’ai visité des hôtels de toutes les catégories. C’est la première fois que je prends l’initiative de rédiger un avis dans un seul but : ARRÊTER CERTAINS HÔTELIERS DE PRENDRE LE CLIENT POUR UN MÉDIOCRE ET IMBECILE CONSOMMATEUR. Mon avis sera objectif et critique contrairement aux autres avis ( non-vérifiés ) qui font l’éloge de cet établissement. Séjour du 18 au 27 Août 2023. Ce récit commence en Mai 2023 quand j’ai demander à un ami à Sitges de visiter les chambres avant que je confirme ma reservation ; mon ami a été désagréablement reçu par un dénommé Ernest de l’hôtel qui a refusé de lui montrer les chambres et l’a invité à regarder les photos sur internet. L’hôtel Medium Sitges 1883 vend des fausses promesses et des photos méticuleusement retouchées sans scrupule ni honte. Par où commencer? LE BÂTIMENT : Rénové en mode cache-misère et rafistolage avec de la peinture et de l’enduit. C’est un détail, vous me direz. LA CHAMBRE : De votre chambre, vous entendrez tout ce qui se passe à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur de l’hôtel : Les aboiements du chien du voisinage, les éternuements et la toux de votre voisin du haut, les gémissements de votre voisine d’à côté et les grognements de son homme. Tous les matins, vous serez réveillés par le bruit des femmes de chambre et des pas lents des occupants qui prennent l’escalier. Toute la journée, vous serez bercés par le bruit des scooters qui se garent dans la rue adjacente qui constitue le parking principal de scooters de la ville. Tous les soirs, vous entendrez jusqu’à 1h30 du matin le bruit du bar de l’hôtel qui vous demandera 1 euro pour un verre de glaçons ( Pas de frigo dans la chambre ) Les fenêtres sont en simple vitrage et les portes des chambres sont aussi fines qu’une porte de placard de cuisine ikea. Tous les clients de l’hôtel se plaignent du bruit, je change de chambre, un ami aussi. Rien a faire. Le bruit est toujours là, c’est la mélodie qui change. L’hôtel n’a qu’un seul argument de mauvaise foi : vous êtes au centre de la ville. Argument-standard de la chaîne Medium dejà avancé à l’hôtel Medium SItges Park l’année dernière. L’air-conditionné est mal placé dans toutes les chambres. Il est orienté directement sur le lit. Prévoyez du Paracetamol, vous en aurez besoin au bout de 48 heures. L’hôtelier a sûrement oublié qu’un hôtel est censé faire dormir ses clients avant de leur proposer un cadre pour des photos instagram et des hashtags. LA SALLE DE BAIN : Âge : 40 ans. Exiguë. 2 mètres carrés au total. 20 centimètres d’espace entre le lavabo et la cabine de douche. Pour pouvoir utiliser le lavabo correctement et vous regarder dans la glace, vous devez faire moins de 160 centimètres de taille et 10 centimètres d’épaisseur. Vos genoux touchent la colonne du lavabo quand vous êtes assis sur les toilettes. Les produits fournis sentent bon et le papier toilette est de bonne qualité, au moins. We were looking for a quiet hotel further away from the hussle and bussle of the town’s bars and restaurants. From the looks of it on the site it looked luxurious and quiet situated. Little did we know that this beautiful looking hotel with tiny yet well kept rooms run by friendly staff is all but in a quiet location. It is situated in a street where bikes park and leave day and night (sounding alarms, starting engines, braking, …). The street also is as it seems a connection between the town center and outside the center. When people come back from their parties in town they walk through the street shouting, chanting, fighting and all other sorts of noice of glass and breaking stuff that is like they are doing it just next to you bed. All this resulting in sleepless nights in the otherwise quiet comfortable beds. When it seemed to quieten down outside the sound picked up inside of guests returning from there parties without any consideration of people sleeping within the building. Loud English American voices making their way up the stairs after which the orgies started a bit later. Insulation between rooms is as minimal as with the outside. Since there is nobody on staff most of the day and the staff you are left over to the descent behavior of the other guests. So you are s..wed. So sad that this hotel, people passing by and the disregard of other occupants is ruining our holiday and health. Both in bed with a fever just by cheer exhaustion after 3 days of not being able to sleep properly. All that at a huge premium price…. You are looking for peace and quiet better not stay at this hotel especially not in the weekends. We had more comfort and quiet on the beach side hotels then here… Would we consider coming back here? Hell no!

Hotel Medium Sitges 1883 is a short walk from where the bus from the airport bus drops you off and an even shorter walk to the train station. You check in at Hotel Medium Sitges Park which is a 2 minute walk from 1883. We were in room 106 which is a generous size and gorgeous French doors with a small balcony. The bathroom is also a generous size. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet and the room very dark and we slept well. Awesome location - so many restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets around. Only a very short walk to the beach. All staff were really friendly and helpful. The TV only had spanish channels but the WiFi was really strong so we had no problems streaming with our device. No fridge in the room but that was no problems.

Excellent situation. 5 Minutes from railway station. Central in town. Walking distance to shops restaurants and beach. Room was a good size with a great double bed. Shower room and air conditioning. Well serviced every day. I had a small balcony on the first floor. Excellent quality and plentiful breakfast. All staff were very welcoming and helpful.

First of all The Location Location Location !!!!! Right in the heart of sitges town, all shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and beach where within a couple of minutes walk.. An old original mansion that was turned into this beautiful boutique Hotel. The staff at the reception were simply amazing, Jacobo who always greeted us with his amazing smile, as well as the amazing gentleman who did the night shift. We stayed at Sitges 1883 (5 nights) in room 003 at the ground floor which has this amazing huge terrace overlooking the garden and the bar (which operates from WED from 18.30 till midnight). Our room was Very basic but charming, bed was rather small for 2 to sleep in but we managed without any discomfort. The room was very clean , A/C worked great. What was missing was a refrigerator in the room but that was also fine. Breakfast was perfect, with an amazing selection from hot dishes to fresh fruit, Breakfast takes place in the beautiful garden. I would say that the cost i paid which was almost 200E per night is a bit too much (as this can be be paid at 5* hotels) but hey this was high season period in one of the most amazing resort towns. I had a wonderful experience and i will certainly love to stay again in the future.
