獅子金沙克魯格國家公園飯店(Lion Sands Kruger National Park)

This was one of the most wonderful and magical experiences we had as a family (and we had just gotten back from a Disney Cruise! but this topped it!) Everything was carefully and lovingly crafted and personalized for our family, our 6 kids were always happy to go on every safari drive because of the connection they established with our guide and spotter who were absolutely amazing!! They made sure we saw every animal we dreamed of seeing (including male lions and wild dogs, But seriously, name an animal, we saw it!). We even got an astronomical tour of the stars at night during one of our night game drives (Despite his young age, Aaron, our guide, proved to be an extraordinary cyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to the natural world). It was unforgettable. The food and drinks were always more than plentiful and delicious. Our rooms impeccable, well decorated and well-suited even for a big family like ours (we were 9)! Every one of the staff members - from the general manager to our butler (yes, we had a butler) was super friendly and attentive and helpful. The views were breathtaking and at night we got cozy with blankets by the fireplace that they would put up for us. On our last night they organized a surprise buffet-snack in the bush, catering specifically for our children, with popcorn, and milkshakes and donuts... it was unbelievable. We are truly grateful to have had this amazing opportunity to stay at Tinga Lodge and experience their service. We hope to come back again soon!

I haven't left a review for a hotel/stay in a very long time but felt compelled to leave one for Tinga Lodge. Our family of 5 stayed at Tinga in July and had one of the best vacations of our lives. The staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable from the day we arrived until the day we left. Our guide, Mandla, and tracker, Wander, were friendly, respectful and incredibly knowledgable, and what's more, fabulous with our three kids. Our butler, Pinky, surpassed our expectations and even joined us for a pick up game of soccer, as did the rest of the staff. Overall, the stay was perfect for us without a missed step. Despite an incredibly rainy safari day in the middle of our stay, we still had an excellent stay and saw an immense amount of wildlife (surprisingly, all of the Big 5 and then some). Huge thank you to all of the staff. We will be back!

L'esprit d’équipe dans la découverte nous fait oublier tout de ce monde. Confort, organisation, accompagnement, gentillesse nous fait classer ce lodge dans les top. Sans oublier le plus important: une excellente cuisine gastronomique. Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables grâce à nos trackers et nos accompagnants dans les repas. Merci à toute l'équipe, et tous ceux et celles que l'on ne voit pas car les pistes, chambres, clôtures électriques, nettoyages, élagages, logistique, entretiens de véhicule, et j’en oublie participent aussi à notre bonheur Danielle & Michel de Belgique The team spirit in discovery makes us forget everything about this world. Comfort, organization, support, kindness makes us rank this lodge in the top. Without forgetting the most important: excellent gourmet cuisine. We had unforgettable moments thanks to our trackers and our meal companions. We stayed at Tinga lodge for 3 nights. I can literally fault nothing. It is beautiful. The decor is contemporary but authentic. Just stunning. The location is amazing. The rooms are spacious yet somehow comfortable and cosy. And the food is healthy and delicious. And very plentiful. But none of that is what makes this place. What makes it is the amazing star. It was like staying with your best friends who just wanted you to have the best time. From Murray and Kruger who made sure our game drives were great fun, but also very informative. To the amazing Pinkie who was the best host and made us feel so welcome. All the staff were excellent to be honest. Massive recommendation. We’ll be back.

Myself and my partner came for our honeymoon and we were treated tremendously by all, from the arrival greeting up until our drop off at the airport. Everyone was warm and friendly. We created great relationships with Pinky our butler, Dre our Field Guide and Wanted our Tracker. All incredible people who made our stay amazing. We loved every minute of it and hope to come back again and rekindle those frienships that were made. It truly was a sad time leaving Lion Sands Tinga Lodge and we hope to come back soon. From the moment you arrive at the airport until you leave, Lion Sands takes every effort to put the customer first and ensure each and every guest is looked after. Attention to detail is considered in all aspects of your stay - food is high quality, accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and provides all mod cons. But for me, it was the staff who made it a little more special, little thoughtful touches and a can do attitude was evident. Location was brilliant - 5 mins from the airport and even less before you start to see the wildlife. I can thoroughly recommend this as as special place for couples and families alike.

We visited Tinga on our honeymoon and the whole experience was far beyond our expectations. From the minute we were met at Skukuza airport to the time we were dropped off, all the staff went above and beyond. Albert, our guide and Mishak, our tracker were amazing - knowledgeable, welcoming and excellent company! They ensured that we saw everything and knew everything there was to know not only about the animals, but also trees, plants, the bush, conservation etc. We saw elephants, lions, buffalo, a leopard, white rhino, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, baboons, hyenas, a jackal, monkeys, vultures, impala, inyala, kudus - and some of these were astonishingly close to the jeep. Our butler, Amos was amazing, remembering our breakfast drinks every day. My husband does not drink alcohol so the lodge made sure both the jeep and our room were well stocked with 0% beer. We were welcomed back after each drive by the wonderful staff and our room was kept spotless by the house keeping team who made sure it was cleaned by the time we returned from the morning drive and all prepared for the evening after dinner. Overall, if I could give Tinga Lodge and its staff and the whole safari experience more than 10/10, I would! Our goal now is to save up enough to return to South Africa and Tinga Lodge!

Un viaje fascinante y especial (festejo de mi cumpleaños) donde disfruté desde el primer minuto hasta el último. Tinga Lodge es precioso, auténtico y está inmerso en un entorno natural increíble donde los animales se mueven libremente. Fue sublime ver a un hipopótamo y a un búfalo bañ**** en el río mientras desayunaba. La comida es excelente y adaptaron el menú a mis preferencias (no como carnes). La habitación es de lujo! Tiene una terraza con una pequeña piscina privada. Los grandes ventanales permiten mirar la sabana en todo su esplendor, incluso en la ducha o disfrutando de un baño a la luz de las velas! Tuve el privilegio de tener como guía a Quolani y como tracker a Isaac! You are the best! Ambos fueron muy profesionales y amigables y se esforzaron para que pudiéramos ver muchísimos animales: los Big Five (varias veces), los "wild dogs", rinocerontes, jirafas, cebras, etc, etc, etc... Además aprendí mucho sobre el comportamiento y las características de los animales. Como recuerdo tengo bellísimas fotos que son testigo de lo maravillosos y hermosos que son los animales en su hábitat natural. Quería agradecer a Chirs, Mister T, Abel, Sylvia y a todo el staff porque me hicieron sentir segura y cuidada en todo momento. Pincky se ocupó de mí de mil maravillas! Un lugar memorable que llevaré siempre en mi corazón!

Wir waren 3 Nachte hier und wären gernlänger geblieben. Danke an das Team, besonders an Herman und Krüger. Die Tierbeobachtungen waren grandios, sehr gute Erklärungen und auch in der Nacht gab es immer wieder Überraschungen. Danke an das gesamte Team der Tinga Lodge, ein ganz besonderer Platz
