古德伍德飯店(The Goodwood Hotel)

Despite reserving a room with a cot for a baby, we were allocated a room on the first level. There wasn’t a lift so we had to carry our pram up and down the stairs to access the dining and leisure facilities. On the weekend we stayed they were doing essential maintenance on the pool so we only had a few hours of use. However this was communicated to us prior to our arrival so did not come as a surprise. The hotel interiors were average and nothing “wow” factor about them. Our view was also of the car park but others may face slightly better views. The food was the highlight of our stay. We dined in both the Farmer, Butcher & Chef as well as the Goodwood Bar & Grill and enjoyed both occasions. The quality of the meats made the meal. We also visited the motor circuit and aerodrome which are free to explore and was a memorable day out.

I love everything about Goodwood, and have visited numerous times, but had never stayed at the hotel. It was no disappoin**ent. The team are consistently friendly and helpful, which is the thing that really makes it special. The Hotel rooms are cosy, clean and well appointed, the restaurants and bar are also higly recommended. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely staff, great location… it has the potential to be fantastic…. But… The rooms are poorly insulated and we had a family with a screaming baby next to us that kept us up all night. As the rooms are poorly insulated, it was really cold, even with the heating on max, both my wife and I went to bed with our dressing gowns on. The bedding is thin… normally you go to a spa hotel to relax and enjoy sumptuous thick duvets and cotton sheets… the bedding is similar to a travel logde. We had a bottle of Champaign with us to celebrate our weekend away together, but there was no mini fridge to put it in. There where no slippers, the bathrobes where thin and scratchy In the morning we went to breakfast and the restraint was packed… a weekend close to Chris**as its expected, but we where stuck in the golf bar… zero a**osphere and when out breakfast arrived they where missing half the ingredients. Overall Goodwood can do much much better. I don’t think it was comfortable or good value.

Every member of staff was so accommodating it was a reminder of what it means when business talk about excellent customer service - Goodwood over achieves. I have already recommended to some colleagues and friends and can’t speak how good the facilities, service and estate are - take a visit and experience it

Excellent accommodation and very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast good and staff very helpful.
