Manager Jay ( on phone) and front of house staff ( in person) were friendly, efficient, professional and most helpful, Despite not intentionally looking to see, my late booked room was dirty (edges of floor coverings, ledges, skirtings, shower etc) I was quickly moved on speaking to Jay to a cleaner room although edges of floor coverings still dirty, net curtains and skirtings were dirty, dusty all of which Jay assured me he has taken up with cleaning staff. My menu stand base on my table was filthy, greasy, dusty, dirty with hair on it which made me feel quite queasy and I sent filmed footage to Jay.
Cleanliness, hygiene ( rusted, dirty toilet brush set, dirt in showers, mould spots, dirty net in 2nd bathroom etc) let bathrooms down. I didn’t feel I wanted to use showers and didn’t.
I really hope the cleaning staff rectify these so rooms live up to the customer service given.
