凱爾飯店(Cahir House Hotel)

A lovely old style town hotel in the middle of Cahir. We had a fabulous big room, 100, with big sleigh bed which was extremely comfortable. The full Irish breakfast was very tasty

Paramos a hacer noche de camino hacia el sur de la isla, y la verdad es que fue una buena opción: está en el centro del pueblo, con parquing, admite mascotas, tiene un supermercado muy grande a 5m a pie, un parque precioso justo al lado,… En el hotel nos atendieron muy bien, tienen habitaciones grandes con camas muy cómodas, y el desayuno es muy bueno y abundante. No tiene la máxima puntuación porque las instalaciones son un poco viejas, y lo peor de todo, no hay ascensor y debes subir muchas escaleras para llegar a cualquier habitación.

Fuimos a visitar a nuestra hija que estudia en Cahir, el hotel está situado en el centro del pueblo que es muy pequeñito pero encantador, al lado del castillo de Cahir que es vista obligada. La situación es inmejorable, la habitación confortable, el desayuno estupendo a la carta y la atención y limpieza también muy bien. Repetiremos cuando volvamos.

El hotel necesita una renovación integral. El suelo del pasillo está lleno de baches La habitación era muy vieja: la ventana no cerraba bien y pasaban el frío y el ruido de unos compresores de aire que había fuera. El baño parecía de la película de "El replandor": la bañera estaba descascarillada, el radiador tenía unos empalmes que daban miedo, una cortina de ducha roñosa en lugar de mampara y el grifo era un suplicio de agua templada-fría. Se anuncia como un hotel con comodidades lujosas y ni tan siquiera hay secador en el baño. Sinceramente, me sentí absolutamente timada por el desorbitado precio que pagué por la habitación. Los puntos positivos son su ubicación y un jardín trasero. No lo recomiendo a nadie

Easy check in, super friendly staff throughout, good food, great service, comfy bed and decent shower. What more could you ask for. Will certainly be staying here the next time I visit. A lovely hotel in a lovely market town with no complaints from the night porter on the two nights he had to let me in after sampling the local ale houses and returning to find the hotel doors had been locked for the night.

I visited Cahir to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. We had a lovely stay at Cahir House Hotel. We had a twin double room which had loads of space. The room itself was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and bar area was always busy with a brilliant atmosphere. The staff were all helpful and welcoming the whole weekend….Thank you!

This is a beautiful hotel and we have stayed here twice before. We started an extra night and was going to stay for two more but my brother fell ill. The rooms are very nice and clean. The food is excellent as we eat there every night. The owners and the staff are very friendly and professional as nothing is too much trouble to them. We can’t wait to our next trip to the hotel in the coming months.

First and last time eating in this dive. Panko chicken “tenders” were far from tender. Worse than any chipper food. Possibly overcooked? Zero flavour. Cheap frozen chips and likely frozen tenders too. Dirt floating in the jug of water. Inexperienced staff who don’t know what they’re doing- all young boys falling over each other. Waiter took away wine glass with wine in it before I even finished. Offered it back to me but his fingers were already inside the glass! Didn’t even apologise. Never again. Absolute DIVE.
