Came down to Spokane from Canada for my 10 year old son’s hockey game. The people in the room next to us and across the hall were having parties in the rooms and hall. People were sharing room keys and a stream of randoms was coming in and out of the hotel building. I called the front desk 6 times between 10pm and 12:30am. Security was ineffective and only called police closer to midnight. I knocked on the neighbours door at 12, when they opened it there was 25ish people in there. Drinking and probably *****, the people looked like 40 year old ravers, some shirtless and with face paint. They said they had a right to party, they were celebrating. I told them they did not have a right to keep 2 floors of a hotel awake, especially children. The police finally came at 1am.
When I called the next day (Sunday) to talk to a manager I was told I would get a call or email. They also told me that Security can’t just stay around to quiet a party because they have many other duties to do during the night. So far nothing from the hotel, no call, no email.
This is the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel anywhere. Stay far away. There are safer, less expensive options with better security. Sharing key cards and admitting 20-30 random people off the street is dangerous. Security was slow and did not really care. Take your family elsewhere.
