Ideal location for tourism and for the purpose of my travel. The graduation ceremony I was attending was across the street in Bank of Springfield City Center. The hotel shuttle from the airport and back was prompt and courteous. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant and comfortable. Kudos all around

They requested a $250 cash deposit in addition to a credit card on file simply because I was local. Ridiculous! Will not stay here again.

I liked that it was close to the venue & Starbucks was a plus!
What I didn't like: the elevators didn't work; no consistent hot water in the room; no mini fridge or microwave in rooms; exercise room unavailable to guests; pool was dirty & definitely not heated as advertised; no continental breakfast; parking garage was not secured

I was extremely disappointed to see that the pool was closed for most of our trip, the pop machines were all sold out, and only three ice machines worked. This hotel staff made it extremely inconvenient to need or ask for anything. They knew a large convention with kids was coming to town, and made it hard to do anything besides sit in the old, run down rooms.

Our room was on 8th floor. Checked in and waited 20+ min to get elevator. Ended up carrying our luggage up eight flights of stairs. Carpet in room was full of stains. There was a long hole in the wall where maybe there was a baseboard at one time. Only 2 packages of decaf coffee in room. No microwave or refrigerator in room. Had to go down two floors to get a working ice machine. Again either take stairs or wait for elevator.

Staff at checkin was helpful, scary hotel parking lot with pretty dirty sidestreets , this is a great looking hotel that neefs some TLC as all of downtown Springfield does. Because its 30 stories theres a magnificent view at the top. Hoping to see some refurbish & polish it

The front desk was really nice and accommodating. The rooms are gross and the sheets are like toilet paper. Badly in need of updating - carpets with stains, sheets with stains, bathtub didn’t drain, paper thin walls. Elevators were constantly getting stuck. Not at all prepared for a large event.
